Choose between the WordPress app and a mobile browser
The WordPress app is one way to work with WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress.org sites; a WordPress.org support discussion describes both, though it is not definitive, up-to-date setup documentation. For a specific task, check the controls available in the current app. If you cannot find a setting or management control there, try signing in to your site’s administration interface through a mobile browser.

Find and edit posts or pages
WordPress administration lets you find, view, edit, delete, and filter posts, and perform some bulk actions. The official Posts Screen documentation describes these as administration capabilities; it does not confirm that every action is available in the current iOS app.

- Open your site’s content list. In the app or administration interface, locate the area for posts or pages. Exact menu names and steps may vary by version.
- Choose the item to change. Review its existing text and other content before editing.
- Make and check your edits. For a new post, WordPress’s Add New Post screen is where you write and insert media.
- Save or publish. Use the option shown for the item and confirm that the change appears as expected.
The documented web administration interface also supports deleting, filtering, and some bulk actions on posts. Treat those as WordPress capabilities, not a promise that the same actions appear in the app. If you are drafting a long article on an iPad, a Bluetooth keyboard is optional; the writing task does not require one.
Upload and manage images and other media
WordPress media can be uploaded, stored, and inserted into posts or pages. Its Media Library also supports viewing, adding, editing, and deleting uploaded items. These are documented capabilities of WordPress’s media system, not confirmation of identical iOS app screens.

On a phone or tablet, selecting an image from the device’s photo library may be a convenient way to add a picture. The precise upload steps and supported file handling depend on the current app and site. After uploading, check the post or page to make sure the media is present and positioned as intended.
Review and moderate comments
WordPress’s comment-management tools allow site administrators to review, reply to, approve, edit, mark as spam, or move comments to the trash. These documented administration tasks may not all be available in the app; use the browser-based administration interface if the control you need is missing.

Site-wide Discussion settings define default comment policies and notification behavior, while settings on an individual post or page can override those defaults. If comments behave differently than expected after publishing from the iOS app, check that item’s discussion settings as well as the current app and site configuration. A WordPress support thread describes an individual report of this kind; it does not establish a universal app problem or a single fix.

The WordPress administration interface includes general settings, media settings, appearance controls, and discussion settings. General settings include the site title, location, registration, and date and time configuration. Use a mobile browser to reach the administration interface when you need a configuration control that is not conveniently available in the app. The documented settings do not establish that every option can be changed in the iOS app.

When working on a small screen, confirm the selected setting and any resulting change before leaving the page. Where a control is hard to locate or use, try the same administration task in a browser on a larger screen.
