Battery protection is about long-term battery care, not extending the charge you already have. Samsung’s Fold6 manual describes a Battery protection control that limits charging to help protect the battery. A charge limit can mean starting the day with less available charge, so it is a trade-off rather than a way to increase today’s runtime. When settings are not enough: plan a recharge
If the real problem is being away from an outlet, a compatible USB-C power bank gives you another opportunity to recharge. It does not change how quickly the Fold8 consumes its built-in charge.
