For more comfortable display glasses, first identify whether the problem is frame pressure, slipping, a poorly positioned image, or eye discomfort. Adjust only the parts your model’s manufacturer says are adjustable, then check that the whole image is centered and visible. For persistent pinching or recurring visual symptoms, stop using the glasses and seek advice from an optician or eye-care professional.
Identify what is making the glasses uncomfortable
Different problems call for different adjustments. Notice where discomfort begins and whether the display image changes when the frame shifts.

- Nose pressure: The pads may be the wrong size or may not rest evenly.
- Temple or ear pressure: The arms may press too tightly, or the frame may not suit your head shape.
- Slipping: The glasses may not be sitting securely on your nose or ears.
- Image appears high, low, shifted, or cropped: The frame may be sitting out of position, affecting both comfort and what you can see.
- Tired, dry, blurry, or strained eyes, or a headache: These are visual symptoms, not proof that the frame itself needs adjustment.
More than one issue can occur at once. A nose-pad change may improve frame position, for example, but it will not correct a prescription need; changing brightness will not relieve pressure from a tight temple arm.
Adjust the fit using instructions for your model
Start with the manufacturer’s instructions for your exact glasses. Electronic frames can have different adjustment limits, and guidance for one model is not permission to bend another model’s hardware.

Check the nose pads and frame position
For XREAL One Series glasses, the manufacturer describes small, medium, and large nose pads. Its tutorial explains how to adjust or replace the pads and check the image position. Follow the XREAL support instructions for your model rather than assuming these pad options apply to other glasses.
After any approved adjustment, put the glasses on and check three things: the frame rests without painful pressure or slipping; the image is centered in your view; and the full display area is visible rather than noticeably shifted or cropped. Make one change at a time so you can tell what helped.

Check temple angle and pressure
XREAL’s One Series guide describes three temple-angle settings. Use only the settings and adjustment method documented for that model. General eyeglass-fitting guidance from ZEISS notes that the temples and nose pads affect fit, and that frame and lens weight also matter. If the arms pinch or the frame keeps slipping, an optician can assess the fit instead of relying on improvised bending.

Consider model-specific parts or configurations
If your manufacturer offers alternate nose pads, verify that replacements are made for your exact model before buying. Do not assume that a pad advertised for another pair of display glasses will fit.

XREAL’s tutorial says removing the front frame from the specified device brings its weight to approximately 56 g; that figure and removal option apply to that device only. Follow the device’s own instructions before removing any component.
Reduce visual discomfort during use
Frame fit is only one possible factor in discomfort. The UK Health and Safety Executive says prolonged display-screen equipment work can be associated with tired eyes, discomfort, temporary short-sightedness, and headaches, and recommends suitable screen position and lighting. Its guidance concerns display-screen work generally; it does not establish the cause of symptoms for every wearable display. Take breaks and stop if symptoms occur
Snap Spectacles Support advises users to blink and take breaks. If symptoms arise while using Spectacles, it says to stop immediately and wait until they resolve before starting again. Its guidance also suggests checking nose-pad fit and image position; adjusting brightness may help when bright imagery appears against a dark background. Check lighting and viewing position
For screen use more broadly, follow the HSE’s advice to use suitable lighting and screen positioning. If symptoms persist despite breaks and a comfortable setup, do not assume that brightness or fit is the only issue.

When to get a professional fit or vision assessment
If the glasses continue to pinch or slip after model-approved adjustments, ask an optician to check the frame fit. If you have recurring tiredness, blur, headaches, or other visual symptoms, consult an eye-care professional rather than trying to solve them solely with a hardware adjustment.
The Alberta Association of Optometrists advises that computer eyewear should be assessed for the user’s working distance. A prescription or lens choice intended for another distance may not suit the way you use a display. Its computer-vision guidance recommends discussing individual needs with an eye-care professional. Do not assume blue-light lenses will prevent or treat discomfort for everyone.
