To make links open in Chrome whenever possible, install Chrome, then choose it as your iPhone’s default browser. In Chrome, go to More > Settings > Default Browser > Go to Settings, and select Chrome under Default Browser App.
Set Chrome as your default browser

If Chrome isn’t installed, open the App Store, search for Chrome, tap Get, and follow the prompts. Google’s current setup page lists iOS 18 and later as supported for Chrome. Google’s iPhone and iPad setup instructions explain installation and compatibility.

What changes when Chrome is the default
Google says links you click will open automatically in Chrome whenever possible, and you can change your default browser again later. This setting does not guarantee that every link in every app will open in Chrome. Google’s guidance on choosing a default browser describes the behavior.
