To sync Angry Birds 2, connect the game on the device with the progress you want to keep to a supported account, then connect the same account on the other device. Rovio lists Facebook, Google Play and Apple ID as sign-in options, but which routes work depends on the devices involved. Use one device at a time: Rovio warns that playing simultaneously can cause sync problems.
Connect the device that has your progress first
- Open the game on the device with the correct profile. If you are moving to a new phone, do not start by linking an empty profile there.
- Open the sign-in controls. On the Main Flock screen, tap your profile picture, open the Sign in tab, choose Facebook, Google Play or Apple ID as appropriate, and follow the prompts. Rovio documents this route in its save-progress instructions.
- Connect the same account on the other device. Rovio says the game will download the linked progress automatically when the same supported account is connected there. Let the game load and finish syncing before switching devices.
The account connection is the important part of a transfer; having the game installed on both devices by itself does not establish that the profiles are linked.

Check that your device pair supports the same route
Rovio documents different sync combinations for different platforms. Its multiple-device guidance distinguishes these cases:

Do not assume an account method works for every pair. Rovio separates Google Play Games on PC from the Windows PC version; if your setup or storefront is unclear, check its current device-sync guidance and game availability information.

Use devices sequentially, not at the same time
Rovio recommends against playing on multiple devices simultaneously because it may cause progress synchronization issues. It does not state which save takes precedence if the devices conflict, or promise that concurrent sessions will merge. Finish playing and allow the game to sync on one device before opening the game on the other.
If your progress does not appear
When the old device still has the right profile
Open the profile on that device and confirm it is connected to the account you intend to use. Then use that same account on the new device. Starting from the device with the wanted progress gives the game an opportunity to link the correct profile before you rely on the new installation.

When you previously linked an account
On the device where progress is missing, open the profile picture and Sign in tab, then try reconnecting through the account service you used before. Rovio’s lost-account guidance recommends reconnecting through the correct service.

After a factory reset
Rovio says progress should restore automatically after a reset if the game is connected to Facebook, Apple ID or Google. It also advises checking for a stable internet connection and confirming that the devices meet the game’s system requirements. Automatic restoration depends on the account connection; the guidance does not guarantee recovery in every case.

When self-service does not restore the profile
Contact Rovio Player Support through its official support channel. Rovio’s lost-account article asks players to include information that can help identify the profile:
- Player name and Player ID, if remembered.
- Approximate account creation time and last login date.
- The devices used to play.
- A screenshot of the oldest purchase receipt, if you made purchases.
- Other useful account details.
Provide account information only through the official support channel and only as requested. A support request is a recovery route, not a guarantee that every profile can be restored.

Allow for update timing differences
Rovio notes that updates may be released on different dates for different platforms. If the devices are on different versions, you may need to wait until the update is available on both before using them together. Check that each installation is current and consult Rovio’s current multiple-device support page if syncing still does not work or your platform pair is not covered.
