How to install the One UI Watch beta
- Check Samsung’s current beta notice. Confirm that enrollment is open for your region and that your Watch is included. Follow the notice’s enrollment instructions; eligibility and menu wording may change between programs and software versions.
- Open the Watch’s software-update flow. Samsung documents beta installation through the Watch’s software update menu. A listed route is Galaxy Wearable > Watch settings > Watch software update. Depending on your software version, the menu labels may differ.
- Download and install the offered beta. Follow the prompts shown for your enrolled Watch. Do not interrupt an update in progress. If installation fails and the Watch becomes unusable, Samsung’s beta FAQ directs users to a service center or Samsung support for help.
How to get out of the Galaxy Watch beta
- Withdraw through Samsung’s beta interface. Samsung’s FAQ describes withdrawing through the beta program in Samsung Members. Follow the current program’s withdrawal instructions.
- Contact or visit a Samsung service center for the Watch rollback. Samsung says a service center must reinstall the latest official software for the previous OS version. Bring your Watch and allow for the service process; Samsung’s cited guidance does not establish a fee, appointment requirement, or turnaround time.
- Restore your backup if needed. After the official software is restored, use Galaxy Wearable to restore backed-up Watch data where available.
Samsung’s May 2025 beta guidance distinguishes Watch rollback from phone and tablet rollback: Smart Switch rollback supports phones and tablets, while a Galaxy Watch must be rolled back at a service center. Do not use a phone-specific Smart Switch downgrade procedure for a Watch.
Should you stay on beta or return to stable software?
