To install Aniimo on Windows, use the official PC client, Steam, or Epic Games Store. The official client installs a launcher; after setup, use that launcher to install updates and start the game. Before downloading, check that your PC runs 64-bit Windows 10 or later and has at least 40 GB of free space.
Check your PC and storage first
Aniimo’s official PC guide says Windows 7, Windows 8, and 32-bit Windows cannot run the game. Use 64-bit Windows 10 or later. The official guide recommends setting aside 40 GB for the fully extracted client and installing it on an SSD. Steam and Epic also list 40 GB of storage. These are published requirements, not independent performance-test results.

Check the listing for the storefront you plan to use; Aniimo says its recommended specifications may change, and its official requirements page was last updated September 14, 2026.

Choose an installation route
Pick the storefront or account ecosystem you want to use. The game is listed as free-to-play on Steam and Epic; Epic says an Epic ID is required and notes that in-app purchases may be available.

Aniimo announced a global PC and console launch for September 16, 2026, at 10:00 UTC+8, with PC pre-download opening September 14 at 10:00 UTC+8. Steam displays September 15, 2026, as its release date, while Epic displays September 16. Install with Aniimo’s official PC client
- Open Aniimo’s official September 14, 2026 PC launch article and use its Download Link to get the Windows client. Avoid third-party download mirrors.
- Confirm that you have at least 40 GB free. Aniimo recommends installing the PC client on an SSD.
- Run the downloaded client installer. When the download finishes, click Install Now to install the game launcher.
- Open the launcher to install or update Aniimo, then start the game from the launcher.
- By default, the game client installs in the launcher’s directory. To use another location, open launcher Settings → Choose another folder and select the folder.
Install through Steam or Epic

Find Aniimo in Steam and install it through the Steam client. If you played a previous beta through Steam and intend to use a different email account now, review the account-linking steps below before proceeding.

Link an existing account and choose the right server
If you used Steam during a previous beta but now want to use a different email account, Aniimo’s official FAQ says you can link your Steam account to an Aniimo Pass email account. The link prompt appears after you log in through Steam. If you skip it, use the in-game Email Link page later.
Progress is shared across platforms within the same server, but data on different servers is independent. If you are continuing an existing character, pay attention to both the account and server you select.

Fix common installation and startup problems
Aniimo’s official troubleshooting guide recommends these targeted fixes. If you change antivirus settings, do so only for files the guide identifies as blocked or quarantined; it does not call for disabling protection broadly.
