In desktop Word, place the cursor where the company name should appear, then choose Document Info > Document Property > Company in a header or footer. In the document body, use Insert > Quick Parts > Document Property > Company. The inserted value comes from the document’s Company metadata.

Open the header or footer by double-clicking it, or choose Insert > Header or Insert > Footer and select an option to edit that area.

Choose Insert > Quick Parts > Document Property.

Select Company from the property list.

If the inserted property is blank or displays the wrong company name, inspect the document metadata. Choose File > Info. To edit the full property details, choose Properties > Advanced Properties, then update Company on the Summary tab. Microsoft lists Company as an editable document property: view or change Office file properties.

Document Property menu versus a field code
Word also includes a DocProperty field code. For inserting the built-in Company value, the direct Document Property menu is the documented route: it offers Company as a selectable property and avoids having to choose a field type manually. Microsoft separately describes Insert > Quick Parts > Field for selecting field types in a header or footer. Use that dialog if you specifically need the field-code route; the Company property task itself is handled by the Document Property menu. See Microsoft’s field-code list.
