You may be able to recover a Roblox account without access to its email by using a phone number already linked to it, securing a device where you are still logged in, or contacting Roblox Support. There is no universal bypass: Roblox must verify that you own the account, and recovery is not guaranteed.
First identify your situation: no email was ever added, you cannot access the inbox, a hacker changed the email, or you are still logged in elsewhere. Use only Roblox’s official recovery and support channels, and never share your password, cookies, verification codes, or backup codes.

Choose the recovery route that fits
| Your situation | Best next step |
|---|---|
| A phone number is linked and you can use it | Try password recovery using the Phone tab. |
| You are still logged in on a device | Secure the account from that session before signing out. |
| A hacker changed the account email | Contact Roblox Support and provide account ownership details. |
| No usable email or phone is attached | Contact Support; automated password reset will not work without an attached email or phone. |
| You forgot the username too | Check purchase receipts, old profile links and messages, or use phone recovery if available. |
| You lost access to 2-Step Verification | Try another registered method, such as a passkey or backup code, then contact Support if none works. |
| The account is under 13 | Ask a parent or guardian to check for a parental recovery email and help contact Support. |
Recover the password with a linked phone number
A phone number can be used only if it was already attached to the account and phone recovery is available for your country. Roblox may send the verification code by SMS or WhatsApp. Follow the current instructions in Roblox’s password recovery Help Center article, since labels can vary by device.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- Open the Roblox login page and select Forgot Password or Username?
- Choose the Phone tab.
- Select your country code, enter the phone number linked to the account, and select Continue.
- Complete the verification prompt and enter the six-digit code Roblox sends.
- If Roblox shows more than one account, select the correct one.
- Create and confirm a new password, then sign in.
If the number was never linked, is no longer yours, or phone recovery is unavailable, do not keep trying unrelated numbers. Recover the number through your carrier if possible, or use another route below.

If you are still logged in on a device
Do not sign out of your remaining session until you have tried to secure the account. If you suspect a compromise, remove suspicious downloads and browser extensions and run a malware scan before changing the password; otherwise, an attacker may regain access.
- From a device where you are still logged in, change the password to a unique one you do not use elsewhere.
- Add and verify a personal email address or phone number you can access.
- Review the account’s security settings and remove unfamiliar access methods where Roblox provides that option.
- Enable 2-Step Verification and generate backup codes if available. Store the codes somewhere safe; they are for your use only.
- Check for unauthorized account changes or transactions.
- Contact Roblox Support if the account email or phone was altered, or if you find unauthorized activity.
Roblox’s hacked-account guidance recommends removing potentially malicious downloads and extensions before resetting your password.
If a hacker changed your email
Do not rely on a reset link sent to an email address that is no longer yours. Contact Roblox Support and explain that the account was compromised and its email was changed. The first email address ever added to the account, or the billing email used for the first payment, can be especially useful evidence; Roblox says these details help its review but do not guarantee recovery.

- Go to the official Roblox Support form.
- Choose the account-access, hacked-account, or password-related issue that best matches your situation.
- Provide a reachable email address for Support’s reply, even if it is not the original account email.
- Explain what happened clearly, including whether the email was changed and whether Robux or items are missing.
- Include truthful account details and relevant purchase evidence through the official form. Reply to follow-up questions in the same ticket.
Roblox says users seeking help for inventory lost after a compromise should contact Support within 30 days of the compromise. Restoration of an account, inventory, or currency is not guaranteed, and Roblox does not support off-platform trades.
Contact Roblox Support without the original email
If you never added an email, cannot access the attached email or phone, or cannot complete another recovery method, the official Support form is the next step. Roblox says its automated password reset cannot be used when neither an email address nor phone number is attached; Support must verify ownership before changing account information.

- Choose the issue category closest to account access, a forgotten password, or a hacked account.
- Enter a current, reachable contact email for Support’s response.
- State whether you forgot the email, never added one, lost access to it, or believe it was changed by someone else.
- Provide the username and the strongest accurate ownership details you have.
- Submit one consistent request, then respond to any follow-up in that ticket rather than sending contradictory duplicates.
If there was never an email, phone number, or purchase associated with the account, Roblox may explore other verification information, but it does not promise that it can restore access. Do not guess details or claim evidence you do not have.
What ownership evidence to prepare
Roblox can compare your information with its account and payment records. Gather what you know, but do not invent or guess facts. The first email added to the account and the billing email used for the first payment are particularly useful for a hacked-account report.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Account identifiers: exact username, previous usernames, and display name if relevant. A display name is not a substitute for the username.
- Recovery details: first email ever added, other email addresses used, and any phone number previously attached.
- Purchase evidence: billing email for the first payment, receipts, order or transaction IDs, platform, and approximate dates. Provide these only through official Support.
- Account history: approximate creation date, devices and locations normally used, and the approximate date and description of any compromise.
- Other identifying details: distinctive inventory, groups, experiences, badges, or screenshots showing the account before the compromise.
Do not include full payment-card or bank details in public posts. Usernames, screenshots, and familiarity with games do not by themselves guarantee recovery.
If you forgot the username too
Roblox’s username-recovery process can identify usernames when a verified email or phone number is attached. You can also look for account clues in old receipts, messages, profile links, screenshots, or videos.
- Try Forgot Username or Password? and use the phone option if a number was linked.
- Search old Roblox emails and purchase receipts; some receipts include the username.
- Check browser history, bookmarks, old profile links, screenshots, and messages.
- Ask a trusted friend to open your profile and tell you the username.
- If you still cannot identify the account, contact Support with the details you do know.
Roblox says its official username-recovery route cannot locate an account without an email, phone number, or purchase history. See Roblox’s forgotten-username guidance.

If you lost access to 2-Step Verification
Try another verification method already set up on the account, such as an authenticator-app code, verified email code, passkey, or backup code. If none is available, contact Support; do not use tools claiming to bypass 2-Step Verification. Roblox does not promise that Support will disable it simply because you request it.
Backup codes are one-time use. Generating new codes deactivates the old ones, so store the current codes safely and never share them. Roblox’s 2-Step Verification guidance notes that enhanced recovery may require two different verification methods in your account details.
Special cases and common problems
No reset email or phone code arrives
Check that you used the email or phone number actually attached to the account, and check spam or junk folders for email. Phone recovery is available only in select countries and may use SMS or WhatsApp. If the method is unavailable or the details are no longer yours, contact Support.
The wrong account appears
Check the username rather than relying on the display name. If Roblox lists multiple accounts after phone verification, select the one you intend to recover. Do not reset another person’s account.
Support cannot verify your request
Review your username and account history for errors, then reply to the same ticket with any additional accurate information, such as the first email or first-payment billing email. Support may be unable to restore access if it cannot verify ownership.

You have a parent’s recovery email on an under-13 account
Ask a parent or guardian to check the parental recovery email. Roblox says a parent can verify this email in Settings > Account Info; it can differ from the email on the parent’s own linked Roblox account. Do not bypass age settings or submit false information.
Items or Robux are missing
Report the compromise and missing items to Support promptly. Roblox does not guarantee that it can restore lost inventory or currency, and it does not enforce off-platform trades. Include relevant details in the official ticket, not in public comments.

FAQ
Can I recover a Roblox account if it never had an email?
Possibly, but the automated password-reset tool requires an attached email or phone number. Contact Roblox Support with accurate ownership information; recovery is not guaranteed if Roblox cannot verify the account.

Yes, if the number was already linked to the account and phone recovery is available for your country. Use the Phone tab in the password-recovery flow and enter the verification code Roblox sends.
What if a hacker changed my email address?
Contact Roblox Support through the official form and explain that the account was compromised. Provide the first email ever added to the account or the billing email used for the first payment if you know it, along with other accurate account details.
What if I have no email, phone, or active login?
Contact Support with whatever ownership evidence you can provide, especially account or first-payment details. Roblox may consider other verification options, but it does not guarantee recovery.
