Start by checking the account connected to the game
Open Candy Crush Saga and inspect the account or profile in the game settings. Sign in with the King account email and password you used when the save was linked, or reconnect the same Facebook profile that held the progress. A different account can load a different save, making the game look as though your progress has been erased.

If the game is connected to the wrong profile, sign out of it in the game and sign in to the correct account. On a shared device, check which Facebook profile is active before reconnecting.

King Community’s device-transfer guidance describes two routes: restore an eligible cloud backup or sign into the King or Facebook account already linked to the save. Install Candy Crush Saga on the new device, then use the same account that held the old progress.

Check iCloud or Android Cloud eligibility
King Community says its cloud-restoration option requires the same iOS or Android account on both devices, Candy Crush Saga version 1.281 or higher, and game activity after December 18, 2024. The guidance excludes the Windows app and Amazon devices. These requirements are version-sensitive; if the option is not available, check the current in-game instructions. King’s page does not state a publication date for these eligibility details: King Community: My Progress.
Use the account linked to the old save
If you previously linked the game to a King account or Facebook, sign in to that same account on the new device. A different email account or Facebook profile will not retrieve the original save. See King Community’s Recover Progress guidance.

Know what may not transfer
King Community says level progress and Gold Bars transfer with an account or eligible cloud save. Boosters, extra lives, and extra moves are stored locally and do not transfer to another device. If you still have the old device, check those items there before removing the game or switching devices.
Contact King if the old level is still missing
If the correct account and eligible cloud route do not restore the expected level—or you never linked the game to an account—contact King Player Support through the game’s Help Center or King’s contact page. Choose the progress or lost-progress topic where available.

- Open the in-game Help Center or King Player Support contact route.
- Select the option for lost progress, if offered.
- Include your Game ID and the last level you remember reaching.
King Community guidance says Player Support can investigate and may manually restore levels, including in some cases where progress was not linked to an account. That is a possible support route, not a guarantee of recovery or a stated turnaround time. See King Community: Lost game progress.

Once you regain access, link the game to a King account or the Facebook profile you use for the save, and keep the sign-in details available. For a future device change, follow King’s current transfer instructions for your platform and account type. Remember that locally stored boosters, lives, and extra moves may stay on the original device.
