To get the Blinky Sprite in Fortnite, search for Pac-Man Ghosts at Pac-Man Island, Blinky Island, Pinky Island, or Mega Maze, then collect and extract the Sprite before the match ends. Current guides also report Cheat Codes and chests as possible sources. These are reported routes, not guaranteed Blinky drops: Epic has not published Blinky’s drop rate or confirmed those locations in its v42.20 update notes.
Where to look for the Blinky Sprite
Blinky is a Legendary Sprite added in Fortnite v42.20 during Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Guides point players to four Pac-Man Ghost landmarks as places to search:

Use the landmarks as areas to investigate rather than guaranteed spawn points. The location advice comes from secondary guides; Epic’s update notes do not name these landmarks or promise that a Ghost will drop Blinky. Once you find a Sprite, extract it before the match ends, as current guides advise.

What Blinky does
Blinky’s ability activates after you take damage. The Fortnite Battle Royale Dev Team describes it in the v42.20 update notes: “Taking damage cloaks you for a short time, making you harder to spot.” Epic does not give a numeric duration in those notes, so an exact number of seconds is not established here.

They announced these variants for Thursday, September 24, 2026. The tracker’s reported details do not establish a Blinky drop rate or a level-by-level cloak duration.

Sprite versus PAC-MAN Back Bling
The Blinky Sprite is a gameplay collectible. The PAC-MAN Back Bling is separate cosmetic content with a selectable Blinky style; owning or selecting that style does not unlock the Sprite. Epic’s reviewed shop listing showed the Back Bling at 500 V-Bucks, but that purchase is not part of the Sprite hunt.

How current is this information?
Epic’s August 20, 2026 announcement framed Chapter 7 Season 4 around Override mechanics, Lobby Hacks, and Cheat Codes, and said Season 3 Sprites remain in Sprite Garden. The landmark guidance and variant list reflect guides available as of October 4, 2026. Fortnite locations, availability, and drop behavior can change with updates, so treat in-match results as authoritative if a later patch changes these routes.
