In Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, guides published in August 2026 report two ways to find Sonic Power Sneakers: search for the standard Epic version in chests, as floor loot, or in Llama Supply Drops; or defeat Dr. Eggman for a chance at the Mythic version. Neither route guarantees a drop. The item is gameplay gear that enables Spin Dashes on the ground and Spin Attacks in the air.
Where to find the standard Sonic Power Sneakers
August 2026 guides report that the standard Epic sneakers can appear in ordinary loot and supply drops. These are possible sources, not guaranteed spawns.

- Chests: Search chests as you loot.
- Floor loot: Check items lying on the ground while moving through locations.
- Llama Supply Drops: Search the supply-drop llamas when you find one.
- Eliminated players: One guide also reports that a player carrying the sneakers may drop them when eliminated.
These routes are reported by Beebom and AllThingsHow for the August 2026 season. Keep looting rather than relying on a particular chest or location to contain them.
How to get the Mythic Sonic Power Sneakers
To pursue the Mythic version, find and defeat Dr. Eggman. Both August 2026 guides associate the boss with the Mythic sneakers, but AllThingsHow describes the drop as chance-based: defeating him gives you an opportunity to get them, not a guarantee.

What the sneakers do
Sonic Power Sneakers are a gameplay item, not a cosmetic shoe. PlayStation’s Fortnite information page lists them among the Chapter 7 Season 4 items and describes two abilities: Spin Dash while on foot and Spin Attack while airborne.

Are they still available?
The reported loot routes apply to Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, which PlayStation says started on August 20, 2026. As of October 4, 2026, the official information reviewed does not confirm whether the sneakers remain in the live loot pool. Epic’s support result for a Sonic Power Sneakers issue concerns a product-specific problem, not whether the item can currently be obtained. If you are playing after the season or a later update, check the in-game loot and current announcements rather than assuming these routes still apply.
