Cricket Wireless includes Max Basic with Ads—formerly called HBO Max Basic with Ads—with its Supreme Unlimited plan. To activate it, sign in to Max through Cricket as your TV provider and follow the prompts to link or create an account. You’ll need an online Cricket account, and the benefit is not a standalone Max subscription.
Which Cricket plan includes Max?
Cricket lists the streaming benefit with Supreme Unlimited; its other listed plans do not include it. The current plan selector shows $55 per month with Auto Pay and $60 for the first month. The amount can depend on your line count, discounts, and current offer, so check Cricket’s live plan listing before changing plans. The included service is the ad-supported Basic tier, not an ad-free plan.

Cricket’s plan listing also says phone-plan video may be limited to SD. The streaming benefit does not promise HD quality. Cricket’s offer page describes the benefit as worth almost $120 a year; that is Cricket’s promotional valuation, not a guaranteed saving for every customer.
How to activate Max through Cricket
- Set up your Cricket online account. Sign in to your existing account or create one through Cricket’s website or the myCricket app.
- Open Max. Use the Max app or visit its website, then choose the option to sign in through a TV or mobile provider. The exact label may vary as the interface changes.
- Select Cricket. Choose Cricket as the provider and sign in with your Cricket account credentials when prompted.
- Finish linking your streaming account. Follow the prompts to connect an existing Max account or create one, then return to Max and start watching.
Cricket’s activation instructions describe provider sign-in as the route to use. If Cricket does not appear to recognize your eligibility, first confirm that the line is on Supreme Unlimited and that you are signing in with the Cricket account associated with it.

What if you already pay for Max?
The right billing step depends on who bills you. If you are billed directly by HBO or WarnerMedia Direct, Cricket says you can link that account when activating the Cricket benefit; the existing direct billing can be canceled once the Cricket access is active. Do not cancel first: confirm that you can sign in and stream through Cricket before ending the old subscription.
If another provider bills you, Cricket says you may keep that subscription or switch to the Cricket benefit. Switching may require you to contact the other provider to stop its billing. Check the old provider’s account or billing page so you know whether it will continue charging you.

What happens if you change your Cricket plan?
Cricket says access to its included Max benefit ends if you cancel Supreme Unlimited or move to a plan that does not qualify. Its offer terms also say the programming and benefit may change or end. If keeping Max access matters, verify the benefit and the terms shown for your account before changing your wireless plan.
Is Cricket’s included Max benefit a good fit?
Compare the full cost and features of Supreme Unlimited—not just the streaming benefit—with your current wireless service and streaming needs. The Cricket-included option is the ad-supported Basic tier, and Cricket notes that phone-plan video may be limited to SD. Consider whether those limits suit you, and whether linking an existing account is preferable to keeping separate provider billing. Cricket’s promotional annual-value figure does not by itself establish that switching will save you money.
