Where to find Black Needle
Black Needle is in Sester’s Bastion, at Sester’s Gate in the region of Mammon. The route begins in the Outskirts of Mammon and leads to the Sester’s Gate Beacon. The equipment database lists the weapon at Sester’s Gate / Sester’s Bastion, and independent guides describe the same destination.

What you need before entering
Use the Sester’s Gate Beacon to access the dungeon. One guide specifically says to cleanse the beacon to open it; other route descriptions say to reach the beacon and enter the Bastion. No cited source establishes a required character level, key item, or stat threshold. In practical terms, you need access to the Bastion and must complete its encounters.

How to reach the spear
- Travel through the Outskirts of Mammon to the Sester’s Gate Beacon.
- Cleanse the beacon, then enter Sester’s Bastion.
- Advance through the bell-platform section. Guides describe using bells to raise stone walkways; one specifies shooting five bells.
- Defeat the Twin Sesters, then continue to and defeat the Stray Sester.
- Collect Black Needle from the Stray Sester encounter.
The available route descriptions do not establish an exact room-by-room path or a confirmed order for shooting the bells, so follow the platforms and progression through the Bastion rather than relying on an unverified bell sequence. Route cross-checks: All Things How, NerdsChalk, and GameSpot.
What kind of weapon is Black Needle?
The equipment database describes Black Needle as a fast spear with long reach and lists Needle Storm as an associated ability. Its reach and attack pace describe the weapon; they do not change the Bastion route or add a separate acquisition requirement. See the equipment database.

Version and platform context
The equipment database says its retail roster and routes were checked on August 30, 2026.
