Android 10 or later does not guarantee that every Galaxy model, carrier version or keyboard software build includes the feature. If your device is eligible, install Bitmoji, sign in, open Samsung Keyboard in a chat, tap the sticker icon and choose a sticker.
Set up Bitmoji in Samsung Keyboard
- Install the Bitmoji app, then create an account or sign in.
- Open a messaging app and tap its message field so Samsung Keyboard appears.
- Tap the sticker icon on the keyboard.
- Choose a Bitmoji sticker to insert it into the conversation.
Those are the steps Bitmoji documents for its Samsung Keyboard integration. The sticker icon and available options may differ across devices and software versions.

Turn on Bitmoji sticker suggestions while typing
Sticker browsing and smart suggestions are separate features. After completing setup, type a message and tap the blue suggestion bubble when it appears. Select “Bitmoji” in the pop-up. Bitmoji says suggestions can then appear as you type; the option may not be present on every software version.

- Make sure the Bitmoji app is installed and you are signed in.
- Confirm the phone is running Android 10 or later. Bitmoji limits direct Samsung Keyboard support to select devices, and does not publish a complete supported-model list.
- Check that Samsung Keyboard is the active keyboard in the chat field.
- Try another messaging app if a sticker will not insert. App compatibility and sticker behavior can vary.
Samsung’s guide to emoji and sticker shortcuts in Samsung Messages describes Galaxy keyboard features generally, not guaranteed Bitmoji integration on every Samsung Keyboard version.

Use the separate Android Bitmoji Keyboard as a fallback
If your device does not expose Bitmoji in Samsung Keyboard, you can try Bitmoji’s separate Android keyboard. This is a distinct option and does not mean the Samsung-specific integration is available on your phone.
- Open Bitmoji and sign in.
- Tap the globe icon to open the Keyboard tab, then follow the setup prompts.
- If the setup option is missing, open Android Settings and go to Languages and input > Virtual or On-screen keyboard > Manage keyboards, then enable Bitmoji Keyboard. Menu names may differ by device and Android version.
Bitmoji notes that Gboard may hide “Keyboard Setup” in the app’s Keyboard tab, so manual setup may be necessary. Snapchat also documents this general Android keyboard setup route in its Bitmoji Keyboard guidance.

Messaging-app compatibility
Bitmoji lists Snapchat, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Discord, Telegram, Textra SMS, Google Messages, the latest version of Samsung Messages, Verizon Messages, Google Hangouts and Instagram as apps that work well with its Android keyboard. This is Bitmoji’s compatibility guidance, not a guarantee for every app version or for the direct Samsung Keyboard integration.
Some older or unsupported apps may ask you to choose a recipient or conversation each time you send a sticker. Bitmoji recommends updating the destination app; if stickers still fail, contact that app’s developer.

Keyboard privacy: what Bitmoji says
Bitmoji’s disclosure about the separate Bitmoji Keyboard says Android shows a standard warning when a new keyboard is enabled. It also says smart sticker suggestions are powered on-device and that Bitmoji does not track text typed with Bitmoji Keyboard. The same disclosure says Bitmoji collects some keyboard activity, including which stickers users share and which sticker categories they browse. These statements concern Bitmoji Keyboard and should not be treated as a description of every Samsung Keyboard integration or all Bitmoji data practices. Disconnect Bitmoji from Samsung Keyboard
- Open the Bitmoji app and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Connected Apps.
- Turn off Samsung Keyboard. If Keyboard Content Centre is listed, turn that off as well.
