Fix missed or delayed touches
1. Restart the phone

3. Try Touch sensitivity with a protector
If you use a screen protector, look for Settings > Display > Touch sensitivity and enable the setting if it is available. Samsung says this option may not appear on every model or software version. It is a sensitivity setting, not a universal screen-calibration procedure.

5. Check accessibility settings and third-party apps
Samsung lists accessibility settings and third-party apps among possible causes of abnormal touch response. If the issue began after installing or updating an app, Safe mode can help you determine whether a third-party app is involved. If touch works normally in Safe mode, review recently added or updated apps.

If the screen responds but the colors look wrong
Color appearance is different from touch sensitivity. Samsung’s guidance points to display and accessibility settings as checks when colors seem unusual.
- Color optimization: Samsung describes this setting as adjusting color and white balance according to ambient brightness. Its guidance says the feature applies from Galaxy S24 onward, with availability varying by model. Look under Settings > Display.
- Color correction: This accessibility feature is intended to make colors easier to distinguish. Look under Settings > Accessibility.
