- Take the composition offline when you do not need its live updates temporarily.
- Disable the linked clip while editing other parts of the sequence.
- Render and replace the composition in Premiere for a rendered version during editing. The replacement is no longer the live composition; return to the linked composition when you need to make or retrieve live changes.
