Monsters & Memories entered Early Access on October 1, 2026, and its official overview says the game is still receiving tuning, bug fixes, and content work, so use current account-page instructions and official notices rather than assuming an old beta fix or past test warning applies today.
Start with the official account and launcher
The official FAQ’s download sequence is to sign in to your account, select Download Launcher near the top of the page, install it, and allow the game to patch before playing. Use the official FAQ and account page rather than an unofficial installer mirror.

- Open the official account login page.
- Sign in using the method associated with your account: passkey or email and password.
- If you cannot authenticate, choose the available email sign-in or Forgot Password route as appropriate.
- After signing in, select Download Launcher, install the launcher, and let it finish patching before launching the game.
A login or password failure is an account problem, not a reason to reinstall the game first. The official login page provides the available sign-in and recovery paths; if those do not work, contact official support.
Launcher will not download, or the site can’t be reached
If the account page or download fails to load, first determine whether the problem is limited to one browser or affects your connection more broadly. A community forum thread records an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED report; replies suggested trying another browser and checking for ISP or regional filtering. One player said a VPN resolved their individual problem, but that is anecdotal—not an official fix or a requirement for playing. See the forum discussion.

- Try the account page in another browser.
- Check whether other sites load normally and whether the issue occurs on another network, if one is available.
- Do not treat VPN use as a guaranteed remedy. If ordinary network checks do not help, contact official support rather than changing game files or downloading an installer elsewhere.
Launcher opens, but the game will not log in or patch
Let the launcher complete its patching after installation. If it appears to be using stale account access, fully sign out and back in rather than only closing and reopening the launcher. In an earlier beta-access support thread, a forum responder advised removing the account from the launcher and adding it again, distinguishing that from simply restarting the launcher. This is beta-era community advice, not a guaranteed current fix; see the beta-access discussion.
No servers listed, or the server list is still empty
Check both your access and your installed client before concluding that there is an outage. The official FAQ lists the current Early Access servers, including US West PvE, two US East PvE options, US PvP, US PvE with a three-box limit, and EU PvE. Server populations and availability can change, so check official account or game notices if an expected server is missing.

If you installed an old community-test or invitation-era build, earlier forum replies advised removing it and installing the version linked in the invitation; one reply directed users to official Discord support if the issue remained. Those instructions are specific to beta invitations and may not apply to every Early Access account. Use the current account page and official notices as the authority. A login failure, incomplete patch, empty server list, and site connection error point to different layers of the problem. Check the relevant layer first: account authentication for sign-in trouble, client access and version for an empty list, and browser or network path for a site connection error. If those checks do not resolve it, consult official notices or support for service-wide and account-specific issues.

A 2025 public stress-test notice warned that users in that technical test could encounter installation or run failures, networking issues, and unexpected drops.
