If an Overwatch reward is missing, first identify where it should have come from: the current Premium Battle Pass, an Unvaulted Pass, a Twitch Drop, or a direct purchase. Each has different eligibility or claim requirements. Check the matching steps below before treating the absence as a technical problem.
Identify the reward source first
Find the exact item in the game and confirm which pass, reward tier, Drop campaign, or purchase you expected to grant it. An item can be absent because its source does not offer it, because you have not reached the required progress, or because a separate claim has not been completed.

| Expected source | What to check | Can it award Mythic Prisms? |
|---|---|---|
| Current Premium Battle Pass | Premium ownership and the reward’s current in-game tier or requirements | Yes, through Premium Battle Pass progression; the exact current schedule should be checked in game. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer |
| Free Battle Pass | Whether the reward is restricted to Premium | No. Blizzard says the Free Battle Pass does not award Mythic Prisms. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer |
| Unvaulted Pass | Whether you own and activated the pass in the Legacy Pass Menu | No. Current patch notes say Mythic Prisms are not obtainable in Unvaulted Passes. Overwatch patch notes |
| Twitch Drop | Whether you claimed it on Twitch and linked the correct Battle.net account | Not a source for Battle Pass Prisms; use the Drop claim flow for the specific Drop reward. Blizzard Twitch Drops guidance |
| Direct in-game purchase | The storefront, platform, account, and transaction receipt | Prisms can also be purchased in game. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer |
Check a current Premium Battle Pass reward or Mythic Prisms
- Confirm the account and platform. Sign in to the Battle.net account and game platform used to acquire the pass or make the purchase.
- Confirm Premium ownership. Mythic Prisms are not granted through the Free Battle Pass. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer describes Prisms as available through Premium progression or in-game purchase, but its stated tier schedule is historical, not a verified schedule for the current season. Check the current reward track in game rather than relying on an old tier number or amount. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer
- Check the reward’s current requirement. Make sure you reached the displayed tier or completed any applicable progression requirement. A reward that has not yet been earned is different from a paid entitlement that failed to appear.
- If you bought Prisms directly, verify the transaction. Check which storefront processed it and keep the receipt or transaction identifier. Do not buy the item again as a workaround for a purchase that appears to be missing.
Check an Unvaulted Pass
Unvaulted Passes have different contents and activation requirements from the current Premium Battle Pass. Current Overwatch patch notes say Mythic Prisms are not obtainable in Unvaulted Passes. They also state that you must own an Unvaulted Pass and activate it from the Legacy Pass Menu to earn XP toward it. Check the current in-game menu and the relevant patch notes for season-specific rules. Overwatch patch notes

- Claim the reward on the Twitch channel offering it or in your Twitch Drops Inventory.
- Check that the correct Twitch account is connected to the Battle.net account you use for Overwatch.
- Use a PC or Mac browser, or the Twitch app for Android or iOS. Blizzard says claiming is not supported in console, smart TV, or other TV apps.
Blizzard says a claimed Drop expires after seven days if no Battle.net account is linked. If that period has passed, check the account connection and the current campaign details. Blizzard Twitch Drops guidance
