Start by checking YouTube Live Control Room’s stream-health message and your encoder settings; don’t assume BSNL is the cause until you measure the connection. For 4K/2160p at 60 fps, YouTube recommends a video bitrate of 35 Mbps for AV1 or H.265, or 50 Mbps for H.264. Those are encoder recommendations—not proof that your broadband line can sustain that upload continuously.
1. Find out what is actually dropping
- Open YouTube Live Control Room and check stream health. Note the exact message and when it appears. YouTube reports configuration issues such as bitrate, frame rate, codec, and keyframe frequency; a warning does not automatically mean the broadband connection is at fault. See YouTube’s stream health guidance.
- Record the conditions. Note the time, your encoder’s output bitrate and settings, the upload test result, and whether other devices or applications were uploading. This gives you evidence to compare between tests and share if you contact BSNL.
2. Check the encoder settings for 4K60
Compare your encoder’s output against YouTube’s live encoder settings. The bitrate values below are recommended video bitrates for the stated resolution, frame rate, and codec—not an internet-plan speed guarantee.

| Setting | YouTube guidance for 4K/2160p at 60 fps |
|---|---|
| Video bitrate | 35 Mbps for AV1 or H.265 (HEVC); 50 Mbps for H.264 |
| Rate control | CBR (constant bitrate) |
| Keyframe frequency | 2 seconds; do not exceed 4 seconds |
| Video codec | H.264, H.265 (HEVC), or AV1 |
| Frame rate | Up to 60 fps |
| Streaming protocol | RTMP or RTMPS; YouTube recommends RTMPS |
Use the warning shown in Live Control Room to focus the check. For example, a keyframe-frequency or codec warning calls for checking that encoder setting; it is not, by itself, evidence of an upload-capacity problem.

3. Test the upload under realistic conditions
- Use the same connection you intend to stream on. YouTube recommends a speed test to check upload bitrate and advises testing before the live event. A short speed test is useful, but on its own it does not establish that the connection will remain stable throughout a stream.
- Recreate typical stream conditions. Test at a time and with household upload activity similar to the planned broadcast, if possible. Include representative audio and motion in an encoder test stream, then monitor Live Control Room’s stream health and messages.
- Compare wired and Wi-Fi connections when practical. A wired Ethernet test can help determine whether Wi-Fi contributes to the problem. It cannot establish that the cable will fix congestion, a line issue, or limited ISP capacity.
4. Adjust the output if the connection cannot sustain it
If realistic tests show that the connection cannot reliably sustain the selected output bitrate, lower the bitrate, resolution, or frame rate and test again with representative audio and motion. Keep the stream-health panel open while testing. There is no single fallback setting established for every BSNL line: choose the highest output that your own connection can sustain reliably.

- 【Plug and Play】No driver or external power supply required, true PnP. Once plugged in, the device is identified automatically as a webcam. Detect input and adjust output automatically. Won't occupy CPU, optional audio capture. No freeze with correct setting.
- 【Compatible with Multiple Systems】suitable for Windows and Mac OS. High speed USB 3.0 technology and superior low latency technology makes it easier for you to transmit live streaming to Twitch, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, OBS, Potplayer and VLC.
- 【HDMI LOOP-OUT】Based on the high-speed USB 3.0 technology, it can capture one single channel HD HDMI video signal. There is no delay when you are playing game live.
- 【Support Mic-in for Commentary】Rybozen capture card has microphone input and you can use it to add external commentary when playing a game. Please note: it only accepts 3.5mm TRS standard microphone headset.
The codec choice also affects the recommended video bitrate: YouTube’s 4K60 guidance specifies 35 Mbps for AV1 or H.265 versus 50 Mbps for H.264. Change settings according to your encoder’s available options and YouTube’s health messages, then retest rather than assuming a setting change has solved the issue.
5. When to contact BSNL
If tests remain unstable over Ethernet, contact BSNL with the recorded test times, upload results, encoder bitrate and configuration, and YouTube stream-health messages. The available guidance does not establish a particular BSNL plan’s upload speed, local line condition, or congestion level. Those need to be checked for your connection and location; avoid diagnosing the ISP from the provider name alone.
