If it connects but drops out, test nearby with fewer obstacles and check for other connected devices. For a frozen speaker, hold Power for more than 10 seconds to reset and restart it; Samsung does not document this as a factory reset.
First, check the connection basics
- Turn on the speaker and bring it close to the phone or computer you want to connect.
- If another device is already connected to the speaker, end that connection or turn Bluetooth off on the other device before trying again. Samsung explicitly requires ending an existing connection before NFC pairing; applying this check to ordinary Bluetooth pairing is a cautious troubleshooting step, not a stated rule for every pairing attempt.
- Make sure the speaker has enough charge to stay powered. The manual recommends charging before first use or after a long period unused.
If the Level Box Mini does not appear in Bluetooth settings
- With the speaker on, press and hold the Pairing button for about three seconds.
- Check the Power button: Samsung’s EO-SG900 manual says pairing mode is indicated by it flashing red, blue, and green.
- On your phone or computer, open Bluetooth settings, scan for devices, and select the speaker. After pairing, it should show as “Connected” in the device list.
These are the pairing instructions published for the EO-SG900 in Samsung’s UK product-support materials. The linked English manual is revision 1.3, dated 27 June 2016 in Samsung’s file metadata, so menu names and Bluetooth behavior may differ on newer phones and computers.

If the speaker appears but will not pair
- Confirm pairing mode is active by checking for the Power button’s red, blue, and green flashing indication. If it is not flashing that way, hold Pairing for about three seconds again.
- End any existing connection to another device, or temporarily switch off Bluetooth on that device, then scan and select the speaker again.
- Keep the source device close while pairing. If the speaker remains unresponsive, use the restart steps below only if it is frozen; the manual does not identify a separate factory-reset procedure.
If it connects and then disconnects
Reduce distance and obstacles
Samsung lists 10 m as the maximum Bluetooth range, not a guarantee of reliable connection at that distance. Walls, corners, fences, and even people can obstruct the signal and reduce the usable range. Test with the phone or computer close to the speaker and with as few obstacles as possible.

Move the speaker and source device away from possible interference. Samsung notes that Bluetooth interference may occur near some industrial, scientific, medical, and low-voltage equipment. Also check whether another device is connected to the speaker; disconnect it or switch off its Bluetooth while testing.

Verify where audio is being sent
If the source device still reports the speaker as connected but you hear audio elsewhere, check that device’s audio-output selection. This is a general diagnostic check rather than an instruction specific to the EO-SG900 manual.
If the speaker is frozen or will not stay powered
Restart a frozen speaker
When the speaker is unresponsive or frozen, press and hold its Power button for more than 10 seconds. The manual says it will reset and restart. It does not say this erases paired devices or restores factory settings, so do not treat it as a confirmed factory reset.

Check charging without opening the speaker
The manual describes the Power-button indicator as red while charging and green when charging is complete. The battery is built in and is not user-replaceable; Samsung directs battery replacement to a service provider or authorized repair agent. Do not open the speaker to attempt a battery replacement.
When to contact Samsung support
If the speaker still cannot enter pairing mode after charging and a restart, or it repeatedly fails with more than one phone or computer, contact Samsung support or arrange an authorized repair. Those are practical escalation checks, not a manufacturer-published fault test. Samsung’s regional product-support page provides model materials and links to support and repair options; available service routes vary by region.
