Fix blurry edges or a cropped image
When the picture looks sharp in some areas but blurry at the edges—or part of the virtual screen seems cut off—check the fit before assuming the glasses are defective. Small changes to frame position can change the viewing angle.

- Adjust the fit. Move the nose pad and temple arms so the glasses sit securely and the image is centered in your view. XREAL and RayNeo both recommend fit adjustments for blurry edges or an incomplete image. See the XREAL One Series FAQ and RayNeo FAQ for their model-specific guidance.
- Clean the lenses gently. XREAL recommends a soft microfiber cloth. Its FAQ says mild neutral cleaner may be used if needed; dry the lenses thoroughly afterward. Cleaning can remove smudges, but it will not correct an optical defect.
- Check whether you need vision correction. XREAL recommends compatible prescription lenses for nearsighted users and advises people with high degrees of nearsightedness to contact support about customized solutions. Confirm insert compatibility for your exact glasses model with the manufacturer or an optical professional. Prescription inserts may address eyesight-related blur, not misalignment or a hardware fault.
Tell static blur from blur during movement
Notice when the blur occurs. If the image is clear while your head is still but blurs during quick turns, a stabilization setting may be involved.
XREAL documents slight motion blur with stabilization enabled during quick turns or large head movements on its xbx a01 series. The company describes this as a trade-off for that feature and says stabilization is more suitable in moving environments. This guidance applies to that series; it does not establish the cause of motion blur on other glasses.

Bring a shifted, unstable, or missing image back
First check the connection between the glasses and their source device. Confirm that the device supports the video output the glasses require, then disconnect and reseat the cable or connector. Exact compatibility requirements and controls depend on the model.
If you use XREAL glasses in Anchor mode, the image may be outside your field of view. XREAL recommends pressing the X button to recenter it. Use the control instructions for your specific model rather than assuming another brand has the same button or mode.

RayNeo’s FAQ gives a suitable interpupillary distance (IPD) range of 56–70 mm for the XR glasses covered by that FAQ. This is not a universal range for display glasses; check the specification for your model if fit or image alignment remains difficult.

The available manufacturer guidance does not establish one general cause or universal fix for flicker across display glasses. Isolate the setup before escalating:

- If possible, check whether the flicker also occurs with another compatible source device.
- Review the refresh-rate and display-setting requirements for your exact glasses and source device.
- Use the manufacturer’s model-specific instructions; do not assume that a setting or remedy for another brand applies.
If flicker continues across compatible devices and settings, contact the manufacturer’s support team with the glasses model, source device, and conditions in which it occurs.

Get model-specific help if one area remains blurry after checking fit, cleaning the lenses, and considering vision correction—or if flicker persists after connection and settings checks. A lasting one-sided blur or optical defect is not necessarily something the wearer can realign or repair. Contact the manufacturer rather than forcing adjustments to the lenses or frame.
