If by “PayPal address” you mean the shareable PayPal.Me link, sign in to PayPal, open Account Settings, and look in Profile. PayPal says your PayPal.Me link appears there. It is separate from the email address on your account.
Find your PayPal.Me link
- Sign in to PayPal.
- Open Account Settings.
- In the Profile section, find your PayPal.Me link.
- Copy the link and send it to the intended payer by email, text, chat, or another method.
PayPal’s FAQ confirms that Account Settings is where you can retrieve a forgotten PayPal.Me link: PayPal.Me FAQs: How It Works. Menu labels may vary by country or account.

What “PayPal address” can mean
PayPal.Me link
PayPal.Me is a shareable link for receiving money. Someone paying through it does not need to know your account email address or mobile number. Availability depends on country or region; PayPal’s FAQ also notes that currency options may be limited in some places.

Your account email is a different detail from your PayPal.Me link. The cited PayPal guidance establishes where to find the link, but not a current menu path for viewing or changing the account email. If you meant your email address, do not use the PayPal.Me link as a substitute.

One-time PayPal Link
PayPal also offers a separate PayPal Link feature for a one-time payment or request, created from the PayPal app. An unclaimed one-time link expires after 10 days. That temporary link is not the persistent PayPal.Me address. See PayPal’s Pay with a PayPal Link page.
Check what your PayPal.Me page reveals
Before sharing the link, review the public page. PayPal’s US terms say it may show your link, name or business name, username, profile picture or logo, account-associated location if enabled, and details you entered in the page’s “About you” section. The terms were last updated September 5, 2023: PayPal.Me Terms and Conditions.

Change or turn off a PayPal.Me link
PayPal says a PayPal.Me link ordinarily cannot be changed after creation, and an account can have only one. You can turn the link off in account settings or the app. When it is off, it is no longer publicly findable and cannot be used to receive funds. See the PayPal.Me FAQs for the service details.
