Log in to Facebook, choose Reels from the left menu, and scroll. That is the route Facebook’s Help Center gives for browsing reels. Reels can also show up in Feed, and you can search for specific topics from the Feeds tab. Your layout may differ slightly depending on your device and what Facebook has rolled out to your account.
The main route: the Reels section
- Log in to Facebook.
- Select Reels from the left menu. Facebook says this area displays videos and reels.
- Scroll to move through the content.
If you remember a “Videos” tab, that is the same place. Facebook Help Center states: “In June 2025, the Videos tab on Facebook was renamed to the Reels tab.” Facebook also says videos posted to Facebook would be shared as reels over the following months, and that reels can now be any length or orientation. So you may see longer or horizontal clips here.

If you don’t see Reels in that exact spot, look for it elsewhere in your available navigation, or use Feed, below. The Help Center describes a general route, not a guaranteed layout for every device.
Two other ways to find reels
Check your Feed
Reels can appear in Feed as you scroll. This is passive discovery: you see what Facebook chooses to show you. If your Feed is showing too much or too little of what you want, Facebook provides Feed preferences and Interested / Not interested controls to adjust it.
#1 Best Overall
Search from the Feeds tab
For a particular topic, use the search feature in the Feeds tab and enter a search term. Facebook says the results are based on that term and are meant to help you discover reels that aren’t personalized specifically to you.
The suggestions that appear as you type in Facebook’s main search bar are a separate thing. Facebook describes them as predictions based on popular searches, not your own search history. They don’t tell you how reel results are ranked.
Rank #2
Which route to use
| Route | Best for | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Reels section (left menu) | Browsing directly | Select Reels and scroll |
| Feed | Casual discovery | Reels may appear among other posts |
| Feeds-tab search | A specific topic | Enter a term; results are based on it |
If a reel won’t play
These are the steps in Facebook’s Help Center troubleshooting guidance. Try them in order:
- Check your internet connection, or try a different network.
- Update your browser.
- Restart your computer.
- If it still won’t play, report the problem to Facebook.
Playback problems can have different causes, so one fix may not work for every case. These pages may also not cover every device or account rollout.
