Use your phone’s screenshot buttons, then check the device’s Screenshots album and make a separate copy of images you want to keep. A Lost Stories account link is for game data; the official game site does not say it transfers screenshot files.
Take a screenshot on your phone
Open the scene or character art you want to save and use the screenshot shortcut for your device. Lost Stories’ official materials do not document a separate in-game screenshot gallery, and capture availability may depend on the screen, operating system, or device. Check that a file was actually created.

iPhone
- On an iPhone with Face ID, press and quickly release the side button and the volume-up button together.
- On a Touch ID model, press and quickly release the side or top button and the Home button together, depending on the model.
- Open Photos and go to Collections → Media Types → Screenshots to find the image.
Apple’s instructions are for iPhone generally, not a guarantee that every game screen permits capture. Button details and menus can vary by iOS version. Apple’s iPhone screenshot guide has the device instructions.

Android
- Press Power and Volume Down at the same time.
- If your phone offers it, you can also use Screenshot from the power menu.
- Look in Google Photos → Collections → On this device → Screenshots, or in your phone maker’s Gallery app.
Android’s controls and gallery apps vary by manufacturer. On Android 12 and later, “Capture more” can extend a screenshot on many scrollable screens, but it is not guaranteed to work in a game scene. See Google’s Android screenshot instructions.

Find, organize, and keep the image files
After capturing, check the screenshot preview and open the Screenshots collection or folder. If the image is not there, check the device’s Photos or Gallery app and the manufacturer’s instructions; do not assume Lost Stories saved it inside the game.
- Move important images into an album or folder with a name you will recognize.
- Make a second copy in a location you control, such as another device or a backup service you already use.
- Open the copied file to confirm it is readable before relying on that copy.
The reviewed official Lost Stories information does not establish a game-specific cloud archive for screenshots or guarantee recovery of deleted local files. Your own second copy is the practical safeguard.

Will screenshots transfer when you change phones?
Do not rely on Lost Stories account linkage to move screenshot files. The official site describes linking a DMM account for game data, including use of linked game data after changing smartphones; it does not say that local screenshot images are included. Preserve the images separately before switching devices. For progress, follow the game’s official account-linkage flow at the Lost Stories official site.
The official site also promotes a PC version with large-screen play and DMM account linkage. It does not document a PC screenshot shortcut or file location, so check the PC environment’s own capture tools and confirm where each file is saved rather than assuming a universal path. Distribution and login requirements may vary by region and can change.

Check device and regional requirements
Store requirements and availability are platform- and region-specific. The Google Play listing states Android 7.0 or later and shows an update dated August 28, 2026; verify the current listing for your device. The Japan App Store listing states iOS 13.0 or later, but that Japanese listing does not establish availability in every country.
If a screenshot is missing or will not capture
- No preview appeared: Try the button combination again, pressing the buttons together and releasing promptly. Confirm you used the shortcut for your phone model.
- The image is hard to find: Check the Screenshots collection in Photos, Google Photos, or the manufacturer’s Gallery app. Folder names and locations can vary.
- A game screen refuses capture: The general phone instructions do not promise capture on every game screen. Try another screen and confirm whether a file is created; the official game material does not describe universal screenshot support.
- Scrolling capture stops early: “Capture more” applies to supported scrollable screens on Android 12 and later, not necessarily game content.
- You changed phones and cannot find old images: Check the old phone and any separate copies you made. The game’s account linkage is not documented as a screenshot-file backup.
Another way to revisit the game’s art
Bandai Namco Filmworks announced a Lost Stories Complete Visual Book for the game’s third anniversary. It is a published-art book, not a recovery method for your personal screenshots, messages, or account progress. The announcement does not establish current stock, regional editions, or price.
