Funereal Night Spectral Steed Attire is a cosmetic for Torrent found in Altus Plateau. To collect it, the current location guide says you need access to the Tarnished Pack; then ride to the graveyard outside Leyndell and search by a group of upright swords. Once you have any Spectral Steed Attire, the Site of Grace menu lets you change Torrent’s appearance.
What you need before you go
- Tarnished Pack access: NerdsChalk reports that the pack is required to obtain the attire. Its guide says the pack is bundled with Elden Ring Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 and sold separately on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Platform entitlements can change, so check the current listing for your platform and edition.
- Access to Altus Plateau: The pickup is in this region, near Leyndell’s outer wall. The guide describes reaching Altus Plateau as a midgame progression point.
The official patch notes do not specify a boss, stat requirement, quest, or other special combat condition for this attire.

Where to find Funereal Night Attire
Bandai Namco’s Version 1.17 patch notes give the broad location as Altus Plateau. For the precise pickup, NerdsChalk’s location guide points to the outer-wall graveyard outside Leyndell, near Hermit Merchant’s Shack and Outer Wall Battleground.

- Look for a cluster of upright swords. The guide places the pickup in front of the sword that stands slightly apart from the others.
How to unlock and equip the appearance
- Collect the Funereal Night Spectral Steed Attire from the graveyard pickup.
- Rest at a Site of Grace.
- Choose the steed appearance-change option and select Funereal Night.
The Version 1.17 notes say obtaining any Spectral Steed Attire adds the appearance-change option to the Site of Grace menu. If the option is unavailable, confirm that you have collected an attire and that the relevant Tarnished Pack entitlement is active for your edition.
