The Sinking City 2 has several confirmed enemy types, but Frogwares has not published a complete bestiary or an exact weak-point guide for every monster. The clearest weak-point information applies to Slither: their vulnerable spots move, and talents and weapon upgrades can increase damage against them. For the other enemies named by the developers, the available guidance is mainly about behavior and positioning.
Which enemies have Frogwares named?
The list below covers enemies identified in Frogwares’ creature-design and game-director articles, not every enemy in the game. The creature-design article focuses on five selected enemy groups; the game director names additional threats. Neither article presents a complete roster.

| Enemy | What the sources establish | Weak point or practical guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Slither worms and abominations | Parasite colonies control corpses. Their movement is awkward and erratic because they operate an unfamiliar body indirectly. | Moving weak spots are described by GamesRadar; Frogwares confirms that talents and weapon upgrades can stack damage against Slither weak points. |
| Stygian Harvester | Small and relatively fragile, but fast. It dodges, ambushes, and retreats to hide when pressured. | Watch for ambushes rather than chasing it. The cited sources do not identify an anatomical weak point or a specific weapon counter. |
| Acheronian | Powerful and resilient, but slow. | Positioning matters; no exact weak point is established in the cited sources. |
| Acheronian Juggernaut | Xbox Wire describes this fused-body enemy as a mini-boss: slow, but dangerous in confined spaces. | Pay attention to positioning in enclosed areas. No specific weak point is established. |
| Lethian Revenant | Named by Frogwares’ game director as an enemy type. | The cited article provides no specific behavior, weakness, or counter. |
| Deep Ones | Named by Frogwares’ game director as an enemy type. | The cited article provides no specific behavior, weakness, or counter. |
| The Shadow | Named by Frogwares’ game director as an enemy or threat. | The cited article provides no specific behavior, weakness, or counter. |
Where are Slither weak points?
GamesRadar’s review describes Slither weak spots as pus-like mounds that can shift across the creature’s body. That means there is no supported fixed headshot location to rely on: look for the visible spot on the Slither you are facing. Frogwares says talents and weapon upgrades can stack damage against Slither weak points, but does not give an exact upgrade list or damage value.

How should you handle the other documented monsters?
Stygian Harvester: expect an ambush
The Harvester’s advantage is speed, not durability. Frogwares describes it dodging attacks and hiding or retreating when pressured; the game director warns that chasing one can lead you into an ambush. Keep track of your surroundings instead of pursuing it blindly. The sources do not support a particular weak-point shot or weapon choice.
Acheronians: make room to move
Acheronians are described as slow but powerful and resilient. For the Acheronian Juggernaut, the developer’s practical emphasis is on positioning, especially in confined spaces where its size and attacks become dangerous. The available sources do not identify an exposed body part or a special damage type that defeats either variant.
Other named threats: don’t assume a weakness
Lethian Revenants, Deep Ones, and the Shadow are confirmed by name in the game director’s article, but that source does not explain their combat behavior or weak points. Without a supported detail, it is safer to observe their attacks and adapt than to assume that a specific weapon or body part is vulnerable.

How can you conserve ammunition?
Frogwares frames combat around scarce ammunition and tough monsters. Calvin can dodge, punch, and stomp, while weapon upgrades and talents support different approaches. Exploration can also reveal useful resources and upgrades. The developers’ advice is to explore your options rather than spend ammunition automatically on every threat.
Rank #3
- Use the dodge to avoid attacks and create an opening before committing to a shot.
- Consider melee when it is safe. PC Gamer’s reviewer describes baiting an enemy into a charge, sidestepping, then using melee to conserve ammunition; this is an observed tactic, not a universal solution for every enemy.
- Use visible Slither weak spots when a clear shot is available, and consider relevant talents or weapon upgrades.
- Be cautious about chasing a retreating Harvester, since the developer warns that pursuit can lead into an ambush.
- Explore for resources and upgrades when an area gives you the opportunity.
Have patches changed enemy weaknesses?
Frogwares’ console Patch 1.0.1 notes, dated August 25, 2026, mention fixes involving enemy attacks in a specific situation, shotgun reload behavior, and Slither visual glitches. Those notes establish that post-launch fixes were issued; they do not say that enemy weaknesses or combat balance were comprehensively changed. The weakness guidance above reflects the cited launch-day developer articles and contemporary reviews, not a complete, patch-by-patch enemy database.
