Choose a service that supports your destination and document, enter the recipient’s fax number, attach the PDF, and check the delivery report after sending.
What you need to fax a PDF from a computer
- The PDF file saved on your computer.
- Internet access and an account with an online fax provider.
- The recipient’s complete fax number, including the country and area codes the provider requires.
Fax.Plus documents sending a PDF through its online workflow and lists PDF among its supported file types. Other providers may accept different formats or impose different size and page limits, so check the service’s current requirements before uploading. Fax.Plus’s computer fax guide

How to send the PDF through an online fax service
- Choose a provider and sign in. Confirm that it can send to the recipient’s country and supports your PDF’s size and page count.
- Open the provider’s Send Fax page. Enter the recipient’s full fax number in the format the service requests.
- Attach the PDF. Check that the right document uploaded and that any additional pages or attachments are in the intended order.
- Add a cover page if needed. Review its contents and make sure it does not expose information you do not want to send.
- Check the recipient and attachment, then send. Keep the provider’s status or delivery report. If the report is unclear or the recipient does not receive the fax, contact the provider or recipient to resolve it rather than assuming that clicking Send proves delivery.
These steps reflect the provider’s documented workflow, not an independent transmission test. Fax.Plus says its report can be accessed by email or in the account dashboard. Fax.Plus’s computer fax guide

Email-to-fax
Some services let you send a fax by email after you enable the feature and link an email address to your account. Fax.Plus documents an address format that combines the destination number with @fax.plus; that syntax is specific to that provider, not a universal fax address. Its guide also describes using email body text as cover-page content. Check your provider’s setup and formatting rules before sending. Fax.Plus’s computer fax guide
