Check the Windows PC requirements
Steam’s listing gives the following specifications. They are the requirements displayed on the store page, not a guarantee that every PC meeting the minimum will run the game equally well.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches| Specification | Minimum | Recommended |

Check Steam client compatibility too
The game listing includes older Windows versions in its minimum OS line, but it also notes that the Steam client has supported Windows 10 and later only since January 1, 2024. Those statements address different things: a game’s listed operating system requirement does not establish that the current Steam client can be installed or used on that system. Verify current Steam client compatibility for your PC before relying on Windows 7 or 8.1.
Choose keyboard or controller controls
Steam lists both keyboard and controller support. A special rhythm-game peripheral is not identified as a requirement, so you can start with an input device you already own. The listing does not establish that keyboard or controller play is better; choose according to your preference and equipment.

Know what the base game includes—and what costs extra
The Steam page presents DJMAX RESPECT V as a rhythm game featuring music videos, online modes, and a broad tracklist. It also lists downloadable song packs and soundtracks separately. Check each item’s store page rather than assuming it comes with the base game: Steam says the main game is required to use DLC, and DLC is not supported through Family Sharing. Prices, regional availability, sales, and the add-on catalog may change, so check the live listing before buying.
