To delete an alarm on iPad, open Clock, tap Alarms, then tap Edit in the upper-right. Tap the alarm’s Delete control and tap Done. Apple calls this “Remove an alarm” in its iPadOS 27 guide.
Delete an alarm in the Clock app
- Open Clock and tap Alarms.
- Tap Edit in the upper-right.
- Tap the Delete control for the alarm you want to remove.
- Tap Done to finish.
These steps follow Apple’s iPadOS 27 guide to setting an alarm. If you use an older iPadOS version, the wording or placement of controls may differ.

Delete, turn off, or change an alarm?
- Delete: Removes the alarm from the list using the Edit and Delete controls.
- Turn off: Tap the control below the alarm time. The alarm stays in the list and can be turned on again later.
- Change: Tap the alarm time to adjust its time or settings. Apple’s guide places the Edit control for removal at the upper-right; its separate editing instruction describes Edit at the upper-left, so use the alarm time to make a change.
If you meant removing the Clock app
Deleting an alarm does not remove Clock. Removing the app is a separate action; Apple lists Clock among built-in apps that can be removed from iPad and says removed apps can be restored from the App Store. See Apple’s guide to deleting built-in Apple apps.
