How to delete all TikTok reposts at once?

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

“Reposts” on TikTok are your reshares of other creators’ videos. When you remove a repost, TikTok typically changes that specific video from “Reposted” back to not reposted—it’s not usually a true bulk delete of your repost history.

So the real question becomes: is there a one-click way to delete all TikTok reposts at once? In most cases, TikTok does not offer a bulk “Delete all reposts” button, but you can still remove them efficiently with the right workflow.

Does TikTok let you delete all reposts at once?

As of recent TikTok app updates (UI frequently changes), TikTok generally does not provide an official “delete all reposts at once” control. Repost removal is typically done per video (tap “Repost” / “Undo repost” on each item), or through a repost list where you must still confirm items individually.

That said, you can minimize the pain by finding your repost list quickly, using the most direct “Undo” action, and working through them in a structured batch.

What you need before you start

  • Be logged into the correct TikTok account (check your profile picture/handle).
  • Update TikTok from the App Store or Google Play if your app is older—missing or outdated UI elements are common.
  • Have a stable connection. Repost changes sometimes fail silently on weak Wi‑Fi or mobile data.
  • Know what “reposted” looks like: on many videos, you’ll see a “Repost”/“Reposted” state on the share/actions area.

If you’re removing reposts because you shared content you no longer want associated with your account, plan to spend a few minutes per batch—there’s usually no true bulk delete.

Method 1: Undo reposts from your profile (iPhone and iPad)

This method uses the repost list tied to your profile, which keeps the process consistent and fast.

  1. Open the TikTok app.
  2. Tap Profile (bottom-right).
  3. Look for a tab/section called Reposts or a similar label (TikTok’s wording can vary).
  4. Open the reposted video you want to remove.
  5. Tap Share (often an arrow icon) or the video’s action menu.
  6. Find the Repost state and choose Undo repost (sometimes shown as tapping the repost option again).
  7. Repeat for each video in your repost list.

If you don’t see a dedicated Reposts tab, use Method 3 (desktop) or the “repost undo” action from the individual video page (below in troubleshooting).

Method 2: Undo reposts from your profile (Android)

The Android UI is similar. The main win is using your profile’s repost list so you’re not searching each creator individually.

  1. Open TikTok.
  2. Tap Profile (bottom-right).
  3. Go to Reposts (or the closest matching section name).
  4. Select a reposted video.
  5. Tap Share (or the action icon).
  6. Tap Undo repost / Repost again to remove the repost.
  7. Continue through the repost list.

If the repost list appears but doesn’t update after you undo items, scroll away and back, or refresh your feed by closing and reopening the app.

Method 3: Undo reposts from desktop (browser)

Desktop often makes it easier to track your progress and may reduce some mobile UI friction. You still typically need to undo reposts one at a time, but you can move faster.

  1. Open a browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge).
  2. Go to https://www.tiktok.com and sign in.
  3. Click Profile for your account.
  4. Find the Reposts section/tab.
  5. Open a repost item.
  6. Look for the Repost control and choose Undo (wording varies).
  7. Repeat for the remaining reposts.

When desktop shows multiple posts on screen, you can often keep your hand off your phone, which speeds things up—especially for large repost lists.

Fastest workaround when you have many reposts

If you’re dealing with dozens (or hundreds) of reposts, the bottleneck is not “how to click,” it’s “how to keep track.” These tactics reduce repeats and missed items.

Use a spreadsheet or notes to track progress

Create a quick checklist: open 10–20 reposts, undo them, then mark them off. This prevents the common mistake where you undo some and assume you cleared everything.

On iPhone/Android, you can use the Notes app; on desktop, use Google Sheets. Keep it simple: Creator + Video link + Status (Undone).

Batch using multiple tabs (desktop) where available

On some desktop layouts, opening repost items in new tabs is faster than bouncing back and forth. The workflow looks like this:

  1. Open repost items in new tabs.
  2. Undo repost in each tab one by one.
  3. Close tabs as you finish to avoid duplicate work.

If opening in tabs isn’t available, stick to Method 1/2 and work through the repost list sequentially.

Troubleshooting: Reposts won’t disappear or the button is missing

Here are the issues you’ll most likely hit, plus targeted fixes.

Repost list doesn’t update after you undo

  • Refresh/restart: Close the app fully and reopen it (iOS: swipe up; Android: force close).
  • Log out/in: If the list is stale, switching sessions can force a refresh.
  • Check connection: Move to Wi‑Fi if you’re on spotty mobile data.

The repost control isn’t visible

  • Open the post page directly: from your repost list, tap the video to reach the full page, then check the action menu.
  • Update TikTok to the latest version. Older builds may hide or rename controls.
  • Try desktop: if mobile UI is missing elements, desktop sometimes shows the repost state more clearly.

Undo works, but your repost still shows somewhere else

TikTok can take a short time to propagate changes across profile views and feeds. Wait 5–15 minutes, then re-check your repost section.

If it still appears after that window, repeat the undo action from the video page (not just the list view).

Only some reposts are removable

  • The source post may be unavailable (deleted, removed, or restricted), which can affect how repost state is handled.
  • Creator privacy/settings may limit what you can view, which can indirectly impact repost controls.
  • Account restrictions can cause partial state updates. Check for any TikTok notifications about account limitations.

Common mistakes that make it look like reposts weren’t deleted

  • Confusing reposts with likes or favorites: Unliking a video doesn’t remove a repost.
  • Undoing from the wrong screen: Some screens show “Share” options without the repost toggle; undo from the full video page.
  • Not waiting for UI sync: Repost lists can lag. Give it a few minutes before declaring failure.
  • Forgetting cross-device checks: After undoing on mobile, check your profile on the same device first; then re-check on another device after syncing.
  • Trying third-party “bulk delete” tools: Most are unreliable and can be risky for your account. Stick to TikTok’s official controls.

Alternatives: Hide content vs fully removing reposts

If your goal is to reduce visibility (not necessarily to delete history), consider privacy options or profile curation. However, these do not always remove the repost association itself.

Goal Best approach What changes
Remove the repost from your profile Undo repost per video (Methods 1–3) Repost state is removed for each video
Make your profile less messy Undo reposts + manage what stays on your repost list Fewer entries visible in repost section
Reduce who can see activity Review TikTok privacy settings Visibility changes, not repost state

If you tell me what you see on your profile (for example, whether there’s a “Reposts” tab or only individual reposted videos), I can tailor the exact click-path to your UI.

FAQs

Can I delete all TikTok reposts at once?

Usually no. TikTok commonly requires undoing reposts one video at a time, even if there’s a repost list on your profile.

Will undoing a repost remove it from everyone’s feed?

No. Your repost is your resharing action. Undoing removes your repost from your account view, but it doesn’t delete the original creator’s video.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Does undoing a repost affect my followers or engagement?

It changes what appears on your profile. TikTok engagement metrics can shift as UI updates, but you’re not typically “erasing” all historical actions—just removing the repost state.

Why can’t I find the Reposts tab on my profile?

UI placement varies by account type, region, and app version. Try opening your profile on the latest version of TikTok, or use desktop where “Reposts” is sometimes easier to locate.

How long does it take for reposts to disappear?

Often it’s near-instant, but delays of 5–15 minutes happen. If it’s still visible after that, try restarting the app or repeating the undo from the video page.

Bottom Line

If TikTok offers a true “delete all reposts at once” button in your account, it will be visible in your repost area. In most cases, you’ll need to undo reposts individually—but you can still do it quickly by working from the repost list on iPhone/Android or using desktop for faster tracking.
