How to Delete a Page in Manual Mode

In manual mode, delete a page from the left-side Pages and navigation panel: open the page’s settings, choose Delete, confirm, then update the website to apply the change online.

1. In the builder, expand Pages and navigation on the left.

2. Find the page you want to remove.

3. Open the settings wheel next to its title and select Delete.

4. Select Delete again to confirm.

5. Update the website so the deletion is reflected online. See the page-deletion instructions.

Check these exceptions before deleting

If it is the homepage

Set another page as the homepage first. Then delete the former homepage.

If it is a product page

Delete the product from the store management area to remove its product page. Treating it as an ordinary content page is not the right removal path.

Hide a page, delete it, or take the site offline?

Choose the action that matches what you want visitors to experience:

• Hide it from the menu: Move the page under Hidden from navigation. It will no longer appear in the website menu, but its URL can remain accessible and the page may still appear in search engines. See the navigation-menu guidance.

• Delete the page: Use the deletion steps above. Deleting a page is different from hiding it.
