To crop a photo in PicSay Pro, open it with Get a Picture, go to Adjust, choose the crop option shown in your version, frame the image, and export the result. The crop command may be labelled Crop, Crop and Straighten, or Crop & Resize because menu wording varies across versions.
Crop a photo in PicSay Pro
- Open the image: Launch PicSay Pro and tap Get a Picture, then select the photo. Shinycore’s help says the app creates a copy to edit, leaving the original photo separate.
- Find the crop tool: Open Adjust and look for a crop command. Depending on the version, it may appear as Crop, Crop and Straighten, or Crop & Resize. An independent how-to published July 30, 2026 describes the path as Adjust > Crop & Resize; an older tutorial uses Adjust > Crop and Straighten. Shinycore’s help does not document the crop screen, so the wording is not guaranteed: check the installed app’s Adjust menu.
- Set the frame: Move or resize the selection to include the part of the photo you want to keep, then confirm the crop. A 2026 how-to describes dragging the selection frame. The available sources do not establish which frame controls or presets are present in every version.
- Save the result: Tap Export and choose Save picture to album. Shinycore’s help says this saves a JPEG copy to the device. PicSay Pro lets you choose an album and filename. The exported image is a final copy; word balloons, titles, and stickers in it are no longer editable as separate objects. Keep the editable PicSay document if you may want to revise those elements.
Why the crop option may look different
Shinycore’s 2014 product brief lists cropping as an image function, but that historical feature listing does not establish the exact controls or labels in a current installation. If you do not see the expected wording, inspect the options under Adjust for a crop or straighten command. Do not assume that your version includes a particular aspect ratio, grid, shape crop, or perspective-correction control.

PicSay Pro is an Android photo editor from Shinycore. Cropping is done in the app; the documented workflow does not call for a special physical tool or accessory.
