To create a Gujarati social preview image, make a separate graphic with a short Gujarati headline, host it at a stable public HTTPS URL, and add that URL to the page’s Open Graph metadata as og:image. Then inspect the exported image and the actual preview on the platform where you plan to share it: correct Gujarati rendering in an editor is not guaranteed to survive export or display well at link-card size.
1. Create and check the Gujarati image
- Draft a concise headline. Keep it legible when reduced to a small link card, and leave decorative elements clear of the text.
- Choose an editor and test the script. Type representative Gujarati copy, including the conjuncts, vowel signs, punctuation, and line breaks you plan to use. The available evidence does not establish that any particular editor reliably shapes Gujarati.
- Inspect the export, not just the canvas. Check for broken conjuncts, misplaced vowel signs, missing glyphs, cramped line spacing, and weak contrast. If you choose a font, check that the required glyphs render correctly in the exported file.
- Check platform requirements. Set the image canvas to dimensions suitable for the target platform. The 1200 × 630 size shown in the example below is illustrative, not a universally established recommendation; platforms may crop or display images differently.
Adobe Express is one optional browser-based editor. Adobe describes templates and text and image editing for social content, and provides a tutorial on previewing a social post. Those general capabilities do not establish Gujarati script-shaping quality, so check a Gujarati test export yourself. See Adobe Express and its social post preview tutorial.

2. Add Open Graph metadata to the page
Once the image is hosted at a publicly accessible, stable URL, add its URL and the page’s canonical URL to the page head. Open Graph identifies four basic properties: og:title, og:type, og:image, and og:url. The protocol also defines image properties such as MIME type, width, height, and secure URL; it says a page specifying og:image should also specify og:image:alt. See the Open Graph protocol.

Replace both example URLs and the title and alt text with values for your page and image. Use the actual image format and dimensions in the optional metadata. The example dimensions are not a platform-wide sizing guarantee.

3. Verify the link preview
- Open the hosted image URL publicly and confirm it serves the intended exported file.
- Check that the page’s
og:urlis its canonical URL and thatog:imagepoints to the image you inspected. - Share or preview the page on the intended platform. Examine the displayed Gujarati text, crop, and contrast at the size users will see.
- If an old image appears, recheck the page metadata and image URL, then account for the possibility of platform caching. The Open Graph specification does not define how a given platform handles its cache.
4. Or skip the browser setup
ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. A screenshot captures a rendered page; it does not create or replace the Gujarati image asset or the page’s Open Graph metadata. If you need a screenshot of the page to inspect its appearance, one GET request can return an image or PDF. See the ScreenshotNeo website and API documentation.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://example.com/gujarati-page -o shot.webp
Its clean-shot workflow accepts consent banners and removes known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each of those steps can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers indicate the page verdict and billing status. An MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for AI agents and MCP clients. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan.
