To create a distinct peach hue, use a full-color RGB or RGBW LED and adjust its color channels; a warm-white bulb alone will not necessarily look peach. Start with red stronger than green and blue near zero, then tune the mix in the light’s app or controller. A Gemstone RGB-WW pixel-light manual gives one system-specific starting point: red 75%, green 30%, blue 0%, and white 25%.
First decide: peach color or warm white?
Peach is a colored hue. Correlated color temperature (CCT), measured in kelvin, describes the appearance of white light; selecting a warmer CCT does not by itself create a saturated peach. Lutron’s CCT guide groups warm light at about 1400K–2700K, cool at 3000K–4500K, and very cool at 5000K–6500K and above (Lutron’s color-temperature guide, April 2, 2025).

Choose the control type that fits the result you want:
- Fixed-white LED: Produces its specified white appearance; changing brightness does not make it a peach-color light.
- Warm-dim LED: Becomes warmer as it dims, generally emulating incandescent dimming rather than producing a distinct peach hue. Lutron describes typical warm-dim ranges as roughly 1400K–2400K while full output is around 2700K–3000K (Lutron).
- Tunable-white LED: Lets you adjust white CCT within the product’s stated range. Some products cover a range such as 2700K–6500K, but verify the particular model’s range and color quality.
- RGB or RGBW LED: Lets you mix color channels to create peach and other hues. RGBW adds a dedicated white emitter; some products combine RGB with tunable white for both colored effects and adjustable white light. Lutron defines tunable white as the capability to achieve any color temperature at any intensity within specified parameters (Application Note #579).
Set peach on a home RGB or RGBW light
Use a device-specific preset where available
If your app offers a peach or warm-peach preset, try it first, then adjust the color and brightness to suit the room. Presets are not universal: LED primary colors, white-channel behavior, calibration, room surfaces, and viewing conditions all affect the appearance.

Enter a starting mix
For Gemstone RGB-WW pixel lights specifically, the Gemstone HUB App Manual, version 2, lists peach as red 75%, green 30%, blue 0%, and white 25% (Gemstone HUB App Manual). Treat those percentages as a starting recipe for that system, not a standard for other bulbs.
- In the light’s app, open its color controls and choose a custom-color or RGB/RGBW mode.
- For a Gemstone RGB-WW pixel light, enter red 75%, green 30%, blue 0%, and white 25%. On another brand, begin with red higher than green and blue low; do not assume its slider scale maps to Gemstone’s percentages.
- Adjust the color mix in small increments while viewing the light in its intended room. If the Gemstone result looks too orange or saturated, increase white modestly; if it looks pale or washed out, reduce white.
- Set overall brightness separately if the app provides an intensity control. Brightness changes output, while the RGB mix changes the hue.
Some controllers use values from 0 to 255 instead of percentages. The Luxli control manual documents that range and treats intensity separately from the RGB mix; reducing green moves the mix more toward red, while reducing red moves it more toward green (Luxli LC Manual). It does not establish a numeric peach setting, so use the channel relationships as guidance and tune by eye rather than copying a guessed code.

Use fixture presets for professional lighting
For stage or production lighting, consult the exact fixture’s manual for a named color preset. The Showtec LED Fresnel RGBAL User Manual lists “R303 Warm Peach” at DMX values 36–40 and chromaticity coordinates x 0.448, y 0.353 (Showtec LED Fresnel RGBAL User Manual). Those values describe that fixture’s preset system; they should not be treated as a universal DMX code or copied to another model without checking its documentation.

Make peach with a lighting filter
For a stage or photography fixture with a suitable white source, a physical color filter can create a peach-tinted beam. LEE Filters describes its 017 Surprise Peach as useful for skin tones and moody lighting effects (LEE 017 Surprise Peach).

LEE publishes different transmission and chromaticity figures for daylight and tungsten source conditions. Its page lists daylight (Source C) transmission Y 19.6, x 0.439, y 0.372, with a listed color temperature of 6774K; for tungsten, it lists Y 21.9, x 0.544, y 0.395, and 3200K. These are source-condition-specific measurements, not settings for an RGB lamp. A filter also reduces transmitted light.

Check compatibility before choosing a setup
- Color-control type: Confirm the light supports custom RGB/RGBW color, not just dimming or white-temperature adjustment.
- Control method: Identify whether color is set by app percentages, 0–255 sliders, DMX presets, or a physical filter.
- Separate brightness: Check whether the control lets you adjust intensity without changing the color mix.
- Hardware and app fit: Verify socket, controller, app, and connectivity compatibility for the exact bulb or fixture.
- Use and output: Consider whether you need room ambience, a stage beam, or a photographic skin-tone effect, and check brightness and color-rendering information for the product.
- White-light requirements: For tunable white, compare the stated CCT range, color-rendering quality, dimming range, and control compatibility, as Lutron recommends (Lutron’s tunable-white guidance).
