To create a checkout link in Hostinger Ecommerce, enable Payment links in Store Manager, add a link with the products and variants you want, then save and share its URL or QR code. Hostinger’s current support instructions call the feature Payment links; a September 2026 product update calls it Checkout Links. The link opens checkout with selected items already added, so customers do not need to browse a storefront.
What a checkout link does
A link takes a customer straight to checkout with the products, variants, and quantities you selected. It can be used without a storefront or website, and works alongside other sales channels. Hostinger lists social bios, email campaigns, flyers, packaging QR codes, and in-person materials as possible ways to share one. See Hostinger’s Payment Link instructions and its Week 38, 2026 product update for the feature’s two names.

Before you create the link
- Make sure the product is set up in your store, including the variants and quantities you want to offer.
- Configure at least one payment method; customers cannot pay for products until a payment method is available. Hostinger explains product setup in its guide to adding products.
- Check that the product does not require custom fields or appointment booking. Those products are not supported in Payment links.
Create and save a Payment link
- In Store Manager, open Sales channels.
- Select Add sales channels, then choose Payment links.
- Return to Sales channels and select Manage beside Payment links.
- Click Add payment link.
- Enter an internal name and a link slug. Hostinger documents the resulting address format as
checkout.hostinger.com/l/your-slug. - Search for the product and add it. Choose the exact variant or variants and set a quantity for each. A link can include multiple variants of one product.
- In the settings, choose whether to allow discount codes or apply a specific code in advance, whether to show your company logo, and whether the link should be active. Turn its status off to deactivate it.
- Click Save.
- Copy the saved URL, or select Show QR code to copy, download, or print a QR code.
When a customer opens the link or scans its QR code, checkout loads with the selected items pre-filled. The customer can then enter contact, delivery, and payment details. For the current interface and feature-specific instructions, refer to Hostinger’s support article.
Choose products and variants for the intended buyer
Customers cannot switch the selected variant at checkout. Make a separate link for each intended variant or bundle, and set the quantities deliberately. This is useful when you have already agreed on a particular product with someone or want a direct route to a campaign-specific selection; it is not a substitute for letting shoppers explore a catalog.

When a Payment link is not the right workflow
- Buyers need to choose among variants: provide a browsable product page or another sales channel instead, because the link fixes the selection.
- The product needs required custom fields or appointment booking: those products are unsupported in Payment links.
- You need a different checkout layout: Hostinger says the standard ecommerce checkout’s page structure, layout, and design cannot be edited, and a custom checkout page is not supported for the integration. Details are in Hostinger’s checkout settings guide.
- Customers need to browse a range of products: direct them to a catalog or another supported sales channel rather than a link preloaded with a fixed selection. Hostinger’s ecommerce tutorial describes its broader store-building context.
