You can run a 24/7 Kannada songs stream by sending YouTube Live a continuous audiovisual feed from an encoder: use your MP3 files as the audio, add a still image or other visual you have rights to use, and send the feed using your YouTube stream URL and key. First confirm you have the rights to livestream every recording and composition. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; that guidance does not promise one complete replay of a 24-hour broadcast.
Before you start: clear the music rights
Having an MP3 file does not mean you have permission to rebroadcast it. YouTube’s livestream terms say creators must have the necessary rights to exploit live content worldwide, including music licensing rights involving artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants.

Confirm that your permissions cover the sound recordings and underlying compositions, the territories where viewers may watch, livestream use, and any archive or replay. Requirements vary with the rights you hold and the relevant territories. Buying or possessing a song file alone does not establish those permissions.

What you need
- A YouTube channel that is verified and eligible for livestreaming. YouTube says the channel must not have had a livestream restriction in the previous 90 days; first-time livestream enablement can take up to 24 hours.
- Karaoke, devotional, film, or other Kannada MP3s for which you have the necessary livestream rights.
- An encoder that can play a continuous playlist and send an audiovisual feed to YouTube Live. YouTube’s encoder guidance accepts AAC or MP3 audio.
- A visual component, such as a still image or designed visual, for which you have the rights. An MP3 by itself is audio, not a complete conventional live video feed.
- A stable internet connection with sufficient upload capacity for the encoder’s total outgoing bitrate. Ethernet is an optional way to connect; it does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
YouTube maintains a list of verified third-party encoders in its encoder setup guidance. The choice between software and hardware depends on your setup: software runs on a computer, while a hardware encoder is a separate device. The guidance does not establish current prices or rank products for continuous playlist streaming, so check the current product documentation before choosing.

Set up the YouTube Live stream
- Enable livestreaming in YouTube Studio. Follow YouTube’s Get started with live streaming steps. Allow up to 24 hours if this is the channel’s first time enabling live streaming.
- Create or schedule a stream. Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and create or schedule a live stream. Review the stream settings described in YouTube’s Manage your stream settings guidance.
- Copy the server URL and stream key. Enter both in the encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to broadcast to your stream. Keep it private and reset it if it is exposed.
Configure the encoder for Kannada MP3s
- Load the playlist. Add the MP3 tracks in the order you want them to play, and enable looping if you want the playlist to repeat continuously. Check the encoder’s own help for the exact controls; labels differ between products.
- Add the visual. Configure a still image or visual loop as the video portion of the feed. Make sure you have rights to that artwork or footage as well as the music.
- Set the audio format. YouTube accepts AAC or MP3 audio for encoder streams. For stereo audio, YouTube recommends 44.1 kHz sample rate and 128 kbps in its encoder settings. Use settings supported by your encoder and source files.
- Choose video output settings supported by the encoder. YouTube’s encoder settings page lists recommended video settings and bitrate ranges. Match those settings to your selected resolution and available upload bandwidth rather than guessing at a bitrate.
- Connect and start the encoder. Paste in the YouTube server URL and stream key, then start sending the feed. Check the Live Control Room preview before starting the public broadcast.
Test the connection and monitor the stream
YouTube advises that available upload bandwidth should exceed the stream’s total outgoing bitrate and recommends 20% headroom. For example, if the outgoing stream uses 5 Mbps in total, aim for at least 6 Mbps of available upload bandwidth. Other devices and uploads on the same connection can reduce what is available, so test under realistic conditions.
- Check the Live Control Room preview for both moving video and audible, correctly ordered audio.
- Watch YouTube’s stream-health status during the broadcast. Its streaming tips warn that network disruption can break a stream.
- Run a test before announcing the stream, including a playlist transition and a period of playback long enough to reveal gaps or encoder stops.
- If you use a computer-based encoder, account for the computer staying powered, connected, and able to run the playlist continuously. A wired Ethernet connection may help avoid some wireless variability, but cannot guarantee continuity.
What happens to the 24-hour replay?
YouTube’s encoder setup article says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not promise a single complete archive for a 24-hour stream, and it does not establish whether a longer stream will be saved in segments. If a complete replay matters, do not assume the 24/7 broadcast will produce one; check current YouTube guidance and make a separate recording if you have the rights and storage to do so.

Troubleshooting common problems
- The stream will not start: Check that livestreaming is enabled and the channel is eligible, then verify the server URL and stream key. If livestreaming was just enabled for the first time, YouTube says activation may take up to 24 hours.
- YouTube shows no preview: Confirm the encoder is actively sending video as well as audio, and verify that its destination uses the correct stream URL and key. An MP3 alone does not create a video feed.
- The stream buffers or loses connection: Compare the encoder’s total outgoing bitrate with available upload bandwidth and leave YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. Reduce competing network traffic, check the connection, and monitor the Live Control Room’s stream-health indicator.
- There is no sound or the playlist stops: Check that the selected audio output uses a supported format, that the encoder is playing the intended files, and that looping is enabled if required. Test transitions before relying on the playlist overnight.
- A copyright issue interrupts the broadcast: Review the relevant rights for both the sound recording and composition, including livestream and territory coverage. A copy of the MP3 is not proof of a broadcast license.

If you would rather not leave a computer running, StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It plays uploaded videos, not a camera feed.
