To configure standalone TON Connect in Omniston, set tonconnect.type to "standalone", provide your app’s public manifest URL as tonconnect.options.manifestUrl, then mount the widget after its container exists. The widget initializes TON Connect internally, so you do not need to create a separate TON Connect instance for this widget flow.
What you need before setup
- A publicly reachable TON Connect manifest that you create and host. The Omniston guide says its URL must be on the same domain as your application; it warns that wallets reject connections when the domains do not match.
- A page element where the widget will appear, such as
<div id="omniston-widget-container"></div>. - A way to load the widget: use the CDN script for a static page, or the npm loader for a bundled application.
The STON.fi quick-start sample manifest contains url, name, and iconUrl fields and says to customize them for your application. That sample is not a substitute for checking the TON Connect manifest specification.

Choose how to load the widget
Static page: load from the CDN
Include https://widget.ston.fi/v0/index.js on the page. The script exposes the constructor as window.OmnistonWidget. The CDN path is major-versioned; STON.fi says non-breaking updates are delivered within a major version and breaking changes require adopting a new major path.
Bundled application: use the npm loader
Install @ston-fi/omniston-widget-loader, call its load() method, and instantiate the constructor it returns. The package loads the CDN-hosted widget bundle; it is a loader, not a fixed local copy of the widget.

Both approaches expose the same widget constructor. Choose based on how your app loads scripts and when it needs the widget.
Configure standalone mode and mount
Once the widget constructor is available and the target container has been added to the DOM, pass the manifest URL in the standalone options and mount the instance:

The Omniston guide warns that TON Connect permits only one SDK instance per application and that creating multiple instances can crash the app. If your application already initializes TON Connect, reuse that instance in integrated mode instead of adding a standalone instance for the widget.

Optional settings after the basic flow works
Preselect or limit assets
defaultBidAsset and defaultAskAsset can preselect assets. The defaultAssets setting controls whether the built-in asset list is shown. If you set it to false, provide a non-empty customAssets list or the selector will have no tradable assets.
Set a referral fee
The widget supports optional referral-fee configuration using both a receiving referrerAddress and referrerFeeBps. The documented range is 1–100 basis points (0.01%–1%). This is a widget setting; it does not establish a separate affiliate program.

Style and clean up the widget
Override CSS custom properties on the widget container to adjust its styling. For pages that dynamically open or close the widget, use its lifecycle events for mount, unmount, and error handling, and call unmount() when removing it.

STON.fi documents CDN paths such as /v0/ and /v1/ as major-versioned: non-breaking updates stay within a major version, while integrators should change the path when adopting breaking changes. The project repository describes CDN distribution as intentional so integrators receive fixes and updates while major paths preserve compatibility. Check the current official guide and the major path your application deploys before upgrading, since bundle and configuration details can change.
