What you need before starting
- Complete the preceding “Herbert and?” quest.
- Reach 20 reputation with the Nun before asking Agatha to read for Herbert.
These quest gates are recorded in GK2DB’s quest data; Neoseeker’s Agatha walkthrough describes the preceding interaction as giving Herbert the Love Novel and then choosing “Read for my friend” with Agatha.

Where to find Agatha
Go to the Crossroads to speak with Agatha for this quest. Her broader character route begins at the Village Tavern and continues to the church, while her home is the old well house at the Crossroads, according to Neoseeker’s Agatha walkthrough.
Unlock Church Music I
The choir is unlocked through Church Music I. Neoseeker’s character guide places that node behind Church Carpets and Agatha’s 30-reputation node. The walkthrough reports a research cost of 50 red and 20 blue technology points; treat those amounts as guide-reported figures, not an official guarantee for every version or save.

Build the choir and finish the quest
- At the church, assemble the choir using four Oiled Planks, two Bronze Details, and four Music Notes, the materials listed in New Wikily’s quest data.
- Return to Agatha at the Crossroads and tell her the choir is ready.
- Hold a ceremony at the church. GK2DB records the completion reward as +10 Nun reputation and 2 Town Gratitude.
The recorded journal objectives phrase the request as asking Agatha, the Nun, whether she can read for Herbert; the next objective is to assemble a choir at the church and tell Agatha, followed by holding a church ceremony. See GK2DB’s quest record.
Is assigning a zombie to the choir required?
A September 28, 2026 walkthrough recommends assigning a zombie to the choir stand before the ceremony, but the quest objectives recorded by the game-data sources do not list that as a requirement. It is an unconfirmed precaution, not an established mandatory step. The suggestion appears in the September 28, 2026 walkthrough.
