Choose an inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster for your Glock 48 by confirming the exact pistol and accessories first. A standard G48 and a G48 MOS are not interchangeable assumptions for every holster: check the maker’s fit listing for your specific model, optic and light, then compare trigger-guard coverage, retention, attachment, handedness and adjustment options. No reviewed evidence establishes one holster as universally best or proves comparative comfort, concealment, durability or draw performance.
1. Identify your exact Glock 48 setup
Before comparing holsters, record which pistol you own and what is mounted on it. GLOCK’s EU G48 MOS page describes a MOS set with a Shield RMSc mounted directly and says it does not include adapter plates like standard MOS pistols; it also notes set contents can vary by country. 2. Confirm exact fit before buying
Use the holster maker’s selector and product description to confirm the precise pistol and accessory combination. A shared model-family name is not enough to establish fit, and an optic cut or light option on one maker’s listing says nothing about another maker’s shell.

For example, GLOCK’s EU accessories page lists a “Sport/Combat holster slim” for the G43, G43X and G48. That is evidence of the named fit for that official product, not universal compatibility across aftermarket holsters or every accessory setup. 3. Compare safety-related design and retention
Check that the design covers the trigger guard as intended and understand how the maker says retention works. Product descriptions can tell you what a manufacturer claims about coverage or retention; they do not independently demonstrate retention under stress, safe handling in your particular setup, or draw performance. Do not treat a feature label or marketing claim as a comparative test.

4. Choose how it attaches and adjusts
Match the attachment to your belt and preferred carry setup. Check the stated belt-width fit, clip or other attachment type, ride height and cant. If the product offers a concealment wing or similar accessory, regard it as an adjustment option rather than a guarantee of improved concealment. Handedness and carry-position choices are also product-specific; verify that the exact version you select offers them.
5. Compare listings with the same checklist
