Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →If you only need separate cookies, history, passwords, and settings for a few legitimate accounts, start with ordinary browser profiles: Chrome says profiles keep those items separate, and supports using them to divide work and personal browsing. Consider a dedicated antidetect or multi-profile browser only when you need centralized profile management, per-profile proxy settings, team access controls, or supported automation. Neither option guarantees that services cannot associate accounts or that a particular multi-account workflow is allowed.
What an antidetect browser does—and what it does not
An antidetect browser is a browser or browser-management product built to create and organize multiple separate browsing profiles. Depending on the product, those profiles may have separate cookies and local storage, persistent sessions, individual proxy settings, team permissions, or automation integrations. Feature sets differ, so verify each control rather than assuming it is included.

That management layer can help keep authorized account work organized. It does not make an account invisible, guarantee that a platform will not correlate activity, or override a service’s rules. Avoid choosing a product on promises that it will defeat identity checks, fraud controls, or enforcement.

For basic separation, a built-in profile may be all you need. Google says Chrome profiles keep information such as bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings separate, and describes them as useful for separating work and personal browsing. See Google’s Chrome profile guidance.

This is browser-data organization, not a promise that every device-level or network-level signal is isolated. If profiles meet the practical need and your workflow does not call for centralized administration, proxy assignment, or automation, a specialized product may add complexity without solving a real problem.
Compare the options against your workflow
| What to assess | Standard browser profiles | Dedicated multi-profile or antidetect browser |
|---|---|---|
| Separate browsing data | Chrome says profiles separate bookmarks, history, passwords, and settings; confirm how the browser handles the specific data your workflow relies on. | Check whether cookies, local storage, and sessions are separated and persist as needed; feature claims depend on the product. |
| Centralized profile handling | May be sufficient for an individual or simple setup; assess whether your browser management needs are met. | May provide centralized handling; verify profile limits, organization, backup, sync, and recovery. |
| Team access and oversight | Assess the administration available in your current browser and account setup. | Check role permissions, access revocation, and audit history. Vendor descriptions of controls are not independent security findings. |
| Proxy assignment | Do not assume there is profile-level proxy management; check your browser and configuration. | Some products document per-profile proxy assignment. Confirm protocols, authentication, location options, and what happens when a proxy connection fails. |
| Automation and compatibility | Check whether your permitted workflow works with the tools and browser environment you already use. | Confirm supported operating systems, browser engine, automation integration, and compatibility with your workflow. |
| Security and recovery | Evaluate device and account access, credentials, and recovery in your existing setup. | Ask what stays on the device versus syncing, how local and synchronized data are protected, and how profiles can be safely restored. |
| Cost and scale | Check whether the existing option handles the number of profiles and users you need. | Check current profile and user limits, support terms, and total subscription cost directly with the vendor. |
The feature categories in this comparison are not a ranking. No independent, like-for-like tests establish a best provider for every team.

Check data separation, persistence, and recovery
Before moving real account work into a product, establish exactly what “separate profile” means in that product. Ask whether cookies, local storage, and active sessions remain distinct; whether sessions persist after restart; and whether backup or sync can restore a profile if a device is lost or replaced.
A browser profile is not necessarily a secure vault. A 2025 academic preprint reports weaknesses in browser-profile data protection under the threat model it studied; it does not establish that every browser product has the same weakness. Read the paper at arXiv, and ask vendors how profile data and synchronized sessions are protected. Also decide who can access the device and product account, how credentials and recovery are handled, and how access is removed when a teammate leaves.

Vendor feature descriptions should be treated as claims until independently verified. For example, a product page may describe encrypted cookie synchronization or role-based access, but that description alone does not prove the security of the implementation.
Add a proxy only if the authorized workflow needs one
A proxy is a separate network component, not an automatic requirement of multi-account management. If your permitted workflow genuinely calls for profile-level proxy settings, verify that the product documents the protocols and authentication you need, how locations are represented, and what happens when a connection drops or credentials expire. GetAntidetect’s manual describes assigning a proxy at profile level; that documentation does not establish that a proxy is necessary or that it defeats platform enforcement.

- Privacy Screen Filter Size: If the visible area of your display has the following dimension: Width x Height (Exclude Frame/Arrow 1 to 3 mm errors): 20 15/16" x 11 13/16" (532 mm x 299 mm), then this filter is good for you. Very Important to double check your screen's Width and Height excluding frame before ordering. It's not recommended to make your selection based solely on your screen's diagonal size
- Left and Right Privacy: Not block visibility directly behind you, regardless of distance. The privacy filter makes the screen appear dark when looking at it from an angle (left and right 30 to 180 degree), but clear when looking directly at it. To change the privacy levels, simply adjust your monitor's brightness level accordingly
- Matte and Glossy Sides: It's a reversible privacy screen filter, giving you the flexibility to choose glossy or matte finish. The matte side will have less glare, however the glossy side will have stronger privacy
- Perfect for Open Workspaces: Ensure your working space is bright and well lit. Privacy screens do not work in dimly lit areas
- Two Installation Option: Option 1 uses clear double side adhesive strips that securely attach to any computer screen. Option 2 (for computer screens with a raised bezel only) uses slide mount tabs that easily stick to the display frame, allowing you to take out the privacy screen filter easily as needed
Check the relevant service’s current policies before configuring a network setup or automation. Do not treat a proxy, browser profile, or vendor claim as a way to avoid restrictions or required verification.
Verify team controls and product fit before committing
For a team, test the administrative workflow as carefully as profile creation. Confirm who can view, edit, export, share, or delete profiles; whether an administrator can revoke a departing teammate; and whether the product records meaningful changes. Ask where profile data is stored, which operating systems and browser engines are supported, what recovery looks like, and what support is available.

For scale and cost, compare the actual profile and user limits with your workload, then check current prices and terms on the vendor’s own page. Limits and prices can change; a vendor’s displayed offer is not a durable or independently tested comparison. A product’s permission model also should not be assumed to protect data from someone with administrator-level access to the local device.
Keep the account workflow within each service’s rules
Rules differ by platform and by activity. Google’s Gmail policy gives one specific example: using multiple accounts to continue behavior previously prohibited is not allowed. That is not a blanket statement about every service’s rules for every form of multi-account work. Check the current terms and account policies of each service whose accounts you manage; a browser product cannot grant permission to use those accounts in a particular way.
The Fury project’s acceptable-use document lists legitimate business account management, ad verification, QA, and privacy research among intended uses, while excluding fraud, credential stuffing, mass registration, and bypassing required identity verification. It also states: “Requests to defeat a specific platform’s identity or fraud checks will be closed.” That is the project’s policy, not a regulator’s ruling, but it is a useful boundary for responsible tool selection. See Fury’s Acceptable Use policy.

A practical evaluation checklist
- Can standard or managed Chrome profiles already handle the separation you need?
- Does the candidate separate cookies, local storage, and sessions, and explain backup, sync, and recovery?
- Can an administrator limit profile access, revoke a departing teammate, and review relevant changes?
- What data is stored locally versus synchronized, and what protections apply to each?
- Is profile-level proxy configuration genuinely required? If so, are protocols, authentication, locations, and failure behavior documented?
- Do supported operating systems, browser engine, and automation features fit your workflow?
- Do your use of multiple accounts and any automation comply with the current rules of each service?
- Do current profile limits, support terms, and total costs justify adding a new product?
