On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, press the Xbox button while playing, then open Game activity > Achievements. You can check a game’s progress there and reveal details for secret achievements. You can also view achievements in Xbox’s mobile and Windows apps, though the exact controls vary by platform.
Check achievements on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S
- While playing the game, press the Xbox button to open the Guide.
- Select Game activity > Achievements.
- Choose the game’s achievement list to see unlocked achievements and progress toward others.
This is Xbox’s documented in-game route. Unlocked achievements appear in the game’s list and contribute to your Gamerscore. Xbox Wire’s May 31, 2022 update describes the Guide path and achievement details.

Find achievements on a phone or PC
Android and iOS
Open the Xbox mobile app and use its achievements feature to review progress. Xbox says the app supports achievement progress, leaderboards, sorting, filtering, and sharing. Its product page lists iOS 15.1 or later and Android 8.0 or later as compatible; the page does not provide a complete tap-by-tap route. Check the Xbox mobile app page for the current requirements and features.

Windows PC and Game Bar
Xbox lists the Windows PC app and PC Game Bar as places to track achievements. Open the Achievements view in the app or Game Bar you are using; Xbox’s cited platform information does not establish a universal sequence of buttons for these interfaces. Xbox’s platform update lists the supported surfaces.

Reveal a secret achievement
A secret achievement can appear without its details so that its title or description does not spoil discovery. In the console achievement list, select the secret achievement and choose to reveal its details. Xbox says revealing shows its title, description, and Gamerscore; you can hide the details again or leave them visible. Reveal only what you want to know if you are avoiding spoilers. Know which newer achievement views are Insider features
Some profile and completion views announced in 2026 are not documented as universally available. Xbox’s September 29, 2026 announcement described an Insider Gaming tab for achievements, Gamerscore milestone badge progress, and completed games. It also described a per-game progress bar toward Mythic status, which is for completing a game’s original achievements; DLC and later updates are not required. The announcement says later add-on achievements are identified separately and describes a way to focus on the original achievements needed for Mythic status. These features were announced for Insiders, so access may depend on rollout. Read the Xbox Wire announcement.

An April 8, 2026 Xbox Wire post described other achievement-history controls being tested with select Insiders: hiding games from a profile, highlighting fully completed games, and filtering the list. Hiding a game changes profile presentation; Xbox says it does not remove Gamerscore or stop activity reporting. Check whether the controls have reached your account before looking for them. If an achievement appears to be missing
The available Xbox material here does not establish a reliable repair sequence or a universal unlock-delay window. If an achievement you earned is absent, consult Xbox Support’s current achievement-tracking guidance rather than relying on a guessed sync step or waiting period.
