To see which Gemini models your Google Account can use, sign in to Gemini and open the model selector beside the prompt box. The choices shown there are the practical answer for that account and session; Google says model names, versions and availability can change.

Open gemini.google.com or the Gemini mobile app, then sign in to the Google Account you want to check. Google says you must be signed in to switch models. Google’s computer instructions and Android instructions describe the selector.

Review the options displayed. Select one to use it. Check the signed-in account name first if you use separate personal, work or school accounts.

Why your available models may differ
Account type and organization settings
Eligibility is not identical across account types. Work accounts may need a qualifying Google Workspace edition, while school access can depend on an administrator enabling Gemini. Organizations may also control capabilities. See Google’s sign-in requirements and its guidance on work or school accounts.
Plan and current usage limits
For personal accounts, eligible paid Google AI plans may provide expanded access to features and models. Google’s limits page describes plan-dependent usage limits and context windows, but warns that limits can change and access may be affected by testing, experimentation or availability. A plan label alone does not confirm which options are selectable: check the picker. Google’s subscriber limits and upgrades.

Location, device and app
Availability can depend on location, language, device and whether you are using Gemini on the web or mobile; Google notes that mobile availability may differ. Its help page says the web app is available in more than 70 languages and over 230 countries and territories, but that broad coverage does not mean every model is offered to every account in every supported place. A screenshot or older list of model names is not a reliable substitute for the live selector: Google explicitly notes that names, versions and availability may change. If the picker offers multiple choices, use Google’s current descriptions to compare them for your task; those descriptions and the lineup can change too.
