As of October 9, 2026, Amazon’s published route for people interested in its satellite internet service is to sign up for updates on the official Amazon Leo website. Amazon’s FAQ does not describe a public address-availability checker, and a planned wider rollout in 2026 does not confirm that service can be ordered at your home. Project Kuiper was renamed Amazon Leo in November 2025, so look for both names when checking current information.

If Amazon presents a direct address result or ordering option, use that result to establish eligibility for your exact location. If it does not, ask Amazon through its official contact route whether your address can order service and when it could start.

Do not treat a general “coming” message, an announced rollout date, a country-level approval, or a global coverage ambition as proof that service is orderable at a specific address. The consumer landing page retrieved for this article presents the service as coming and does not document an address lookup flow.
What Amazon has announced—and what it does not confirm
Amazon renamed Project Kuiper to Amazon Leo on November 13, 2025. Searching for “Amazon Kuiper” can still lead to older material, so use the current name as well when checking official updates. Amazon says it began an enterprise preview for selected business customers in November 2025 and plans a wider rollout in 2026 as it launches more satellites and adds network capacity. Neither the enterprise preview nor that planned rollout establishes that residential service is available at your address. Country approval is not the same as home availability
Regulatory approval can be a step toward offering a service in a country, but it does not mean every household there can place an order. For example, Amazon announced approval to offer Leo in the UK and described the UK as among the first countries intended to receive service once it is available. Do the advertised speeds tell you whether you can get service?
No. The figures Amazon lists are peak “up to” speeds for antenna models, not a promise of availability or performance at a household. Amazon lists Leo Nano at up to 100 Mbps downlink, Leo Pro at up to 400 Mbps downlink, and enterprise-grade Leo Ultra at up to 1 Gbps downlink and up to 400 Mbps uplink. The listed antenna sizes are 7 by 7 inches for Nano, 11 by 11 inches for Pro, and 20 by 30 inches for Ultra.

Amazon says the speed measurements are based on limited preliminary testing and are not guaranteed. Actual speeds may vary with geography, weather, Wi-Fi performance, plan availability, network congestion, policy, and other factors. Consult Amazon’s technology page for its model descriptions and qualifications; do not use a model’s peak speed to infer that the service is available at your address.

Do not assume that the terminals are currently for sale or lease. Amazon’s US-facing technology page says the devices have not been authorized under FCC rules and may not be offered for sale or lease until authorization is obtained. Check Amazon’s current official information for your country rather than relying on an old announcement or an unofficial listing.

What to verify before choosing an internet provider
Once you can compare services at your exact location, check more than headline speeds. Confirm whether each offer is orderable now and when service can start; the total equipment and monthly cost; data and usage policies; expected rather than peak speeds; latency and reliability; and any installation or portability requirements. Availability and terms can differ by location, so use current provider information for your address.
