Treat an email, social post, Discord message or in-game contact as a lead to verify, not proof. Don’t enter your password or account details through a suspicious offer link.
Verify the offer without using its link
- Go to Blizzard independently. Open Blizzard’s official news page or the Battle.net Shop using an address you enter yourself or the official app. Search for the offer there rather than following a link in a message.
- Match the exact product and contents. Check the edition name and what it includes against Blizzard’s announcement. Similar branding or a familiar product name is not enough.
- Check the destination of any link. Blizzard warns that a link can look legitimate but redirect to a different, official-looking site. Lookalike spellings are a warning sign. A sender address that appears to use a Blizzard domain is not conclusive either, because return addresses can be spoofed.
- Keep your credentials private. Don’t provide your password or account credentials in response to a suspicious email, social post, Discord contact or in-game message. Blizzard says it will not ask for account credentials through Discord.
Blizzard Customer Support forum author Vrakthris warned on September 29, 2026: “Phishing attempts may also mimic a special offer, like an invitation to participate in the beta phase for one of our games/expansions.” The post says an email from Blizzard should usually come from an official domain, either Blizzard.com or Battle.net, but that clue should be paired with independent navigation and link inspection, not treated as proof. Read Blizzard’s account-safety guidance.

Physical Collector’s Edition
Blizzard says the restock is available through the Blizzard Gear Store, with additional English editions being made available in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Exact timing varies by retailer. For Australia and New Zealand, the announcement names JB Hi-Fi and EB Games as participating retailers; it does not establish availability elsewhere or guarantee stock at any named store.

Digital options
The announcement names the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack and Warcraft Forever Collection as digital options available through the Battle.net Shop. These are separate purchase paths from the physical Collector’s Edition, so compare the exact product and included items rather than assuming a digital offer contains the physical set.

- WARCRAFT 2 - BATTLE.NET EDITION
Some digital purchases may qualify for Battle.net Balance credit when the Collector’s Edition code is later redeemed. Blizzard says eligibility depends on the product and upgrade path. Check Blizzard’s support article about credit eligibility before relying on a credit benefit.
Compare a listing with the official offer
Use this checklist when assessing a store page, marketplace listing or message. A listing on a marketplace by itself does not establish that Blizzard authorized the seller.
Rank #3
- Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures
- Explore randomly generated worlds and build amazing things from the simplest of homes to the grandest of castles
- Play in creative mode with unlimited resources or mine deep into the world in survival mode, crafting weapons and armor to fend off the dangerous mobs
- Play on the go in handheld or tabletop modes
- Includes Super Mario Mash-Up, Natural Texture Pack, Biome Settlers Skin Pack, Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, Campfire Tales Skin Pack; Compatible with Nintendo Switch only
- Official-channel evidence: Can you find the same offer by navigating directly to Blizzard’s announcement, Battle.net Shop or named store?
- Seller identity: Is the seller a channel Blizzard names for the relevant region? The announcement names the Blizzard Gear Store and participating JB Hi-Fi and EB Games retailers in Australia and New Zealand. It does not establish Amazon availability or authorization.
- Edition and contents: Does the listing match the announced product name, physical or digital format, and included items?
- Region and code terms: Does the offer apply to your region, and are the code and redemption terms clear?
- Timing and limits: Does the delivery estimate fit Blizzard’s stated February 2027 expectation for the restock? Check the specific retailer’s timing and any purchase limit.
- Credit or bonus conditions: If a seller promises later credit or another benefit, confirm the exact product and upgrade path qualify under Blizzard’s terms.
If you’re considering a marketplace listing, inspect the named seller, region, delivery date, exact contents and return terms. If Blizzard does not name the seller, describe that accurately: its status is not established by the announcement. For terms or return questions, check the terms for your region and the specific seller; Blizzard Gear Store purchases have separate terms from Battle.net purchases.
