Follow the link to the Network Coverage Map, then search for your location or postcode.

Inspect the map around the property, including the area immediately surrounding the address. Treat the result as Vodafone’s prediction of expected coverage, not a measurement taken inside your home.

Vodafone says its network covers 99% of UK homes and 96% of the UK landmass. These are Vodafone’s UK-wide figures, published on its network information page and accessed on 7 October 2026; they do not establish what signal is available at a particular address.

Does a coverage result guarantee signal indoors?
No. Vodafone says mobile coverage is not organized along postcode boundaries. Its representative Martin put it this way in a Vodafone Status Checker article published on 22 September 2021: “Mobile coverage isn’t designed according to postcode boundaries,”. A postcode lookup therefore cannot establish reception at every point on a property or in every room.
Coverage can also be affected by local conditions. A map prediction should not be read as a promise of indoor reception, a measured signal-strength level, or a guaranteed download speed. Vodafone’s official pages do not provide an address-specific signal reading or guaranteed speed for an arbitrary location.

How to check for a Vodafone fault or planned work
If coverage should be available but service has become worse than usual, use Vodafone’s Network Status Checker. It is separate from the coverage map: the map predicts expected coverage, while the checker reports incidents or planned maintenance that may affect service. Vodafone says the checker can indicate whether an issue affects voice or data and when it is expected to be resolved; current status can change, so consult the live checker.

How to check Vodafone 5G and 5G+ coverage
Use the coverage map to inspect expected coverage at the location, but do not assume that a 5G or 5G+ map result alone means your handset will connect. Vodafone lists three requirements for 5G+: coverage at the location, a 5G+-ready device, and an eligible Pay monthly plan.
Why might Vodafone signal be weak at home?
A coverage map is an area-level prediction, not a room-by-room signal test. The map and status checker answer different questions: one shows expected coverage, while the other may identify a current fault or planned work. If neither explains the problem, the official information cited here does not determine the signal level inside your particular home.

Vodafone also publishes signal-strength instructions for its 5G broadband hubs. Those instructions apply to the broadband hub, not to a mobile handset, so they should not be used as a phone signal-strength scale.
