To check whether MC Addons Manager can be installed on your Xbox, open the console’s Microsoft Store, search for MC Addons Manager, and install it only if the listing appears for your console and account. Availability and compatibility are not confirmed for every Xbox model or region, so a Store listing on your own device is the key first check.
Check the Xbox Store listing first
- Open Microsoft Store on your Xbox.
- Search for MC Addons Manager.
- If the app appears, open its listing and select the available install or download option. Microsoft’s general Store guidance describes selecting an app or game and using its download/install control: Microsoft Support: Install games and apps on Xbox.
- After installation, look under My games & apps and its Apps area to launch it.

What the app is—and what it is not
MC Addons Manager is a third-party tool associated with managing add-ons for Minecraft Bedrock. It is digital software, not a physical Xbox accessory. The available documentation does not establish that it can be downloaded or used on every Xbox console, and this guide does not assume that a listing found for one model, account, or region will appear for another.
Bedrock add-ons and packs are not the same as PC-style game-code mods. The cited community reference associates the manager with Bedrock add-on management, but is marked as needing updates and does not verify current Xbox installation behavior: Minecraft Wiki: Mods.

If it does not appear or install
- No search result: The app may not be listed for your console, account, or region. The available evidence does not establish a current workaround or confirm that it is available for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. Do not treat instructions for a different console as proof of compatibility.
- An old tutorial no longer works: A Reddit post dated October 16, 2021 reproduced a developer statement that a console update had affected the app’s file access. That historical report may help explain why older instructions fail, but it is not a current support notice: Reddit discussion from October 2021.
- Series X|S availability is unclear: A TrueAchievements forum post from March 25, 2022 reported that a user could not find the manager in the Series X Store. This is a dated individual report, not evidence of its present-day availability: TrueAchievements forum discussion.
Those reports do not establish the app’s current status. If the listing is absent on your device, the supported next step is to check again in the console Store later or use content that is available through Minecraft’s official storefront; no current procedure for importing community packs on Xbox is established here.
