Four free months of Spotify Premium are not a guaranteed, ongoing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate benefit. The four-month offer was listed as a campaign perk in 2021; whether you can claim a Spotify deal now depends on what appears in Perks for your account, region and platform. To check, sign in to the Microsoft account that owns Game Pass, open the Game Pass section in the Xbox app or on your console, and select Perks.
How to check for a Spotify offer
-
Sign in to your Xbox console or Xbox app with the Microsoft account that has Game Pass Ultimate.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
-
Open the Game Pass section and select Perks. Xbox says partner offers may appear in the Game Pass area on an Xbox console, the Xbox mobile app or the Xbox app on Windows. Check Xbox’s current Perks information.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesSpecial offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy. -
Look for a Spotify Premium offer. If there is no Spotify tile, there is no offer available to redeem through that account and platform at that time. Buying or renewing Ultimate does not guarantee that a Spotify Perk will appear.

Why the four-month offer may not appear
The four-month duration refers to a historical campaign, not a standing benefit included with every Ultimate subscription. Slickdeals listed a four-month Spotify Premium trial perk for Ultimate members on June 21, 2021: the historical deal listing. Xbox’s current Perks page says the number and content of offers vary by region, platform and time, and that offers must be redeemed by their stated deadline.

Xbox announced a separate six-month Spotify Premium promotion on October 1, 2019. Its terms applied to eligible U.S. and U.K. residents who were new to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass and new to Spotify Premium. The announcement said, “You also must be both eligible for, and new to Spotify Premium.” Read the Xbox Wire announcement. Those historical terms do not establish eligibility for a later or current campaign.

No tile: The campaign may have expired, may not be running in your region or on your platform, or may be limited to a different membership tier. Xbox does not promise that a Spotify offer will be available to every Ultimate member.
