Change tracking, scrolling direction and click behavior
Tracking speed and pointer acceleration
In System Settings > Mouse > Point & Click, adjust Tracking speed to change how quickly the pointer moves across the screen. Apple describes the default behavior as responding more quickly to fast mouse movements and more precisely to slow ones. To turn off pointer acceleration, open Mouse > Advanced and switch off Pointer acceleration. Apple’s Mouse settings guide describes these controls.
