Its homepage says it can “Capture and store full-page screenshots for your review.” In that context, screenshots are captures associated with checking a page over time and reviewing changes, rather than a documented standalone scrolling-screenshot utility. The official homepage and extension guide reviewed here do not specify a dedicated “capture now” button, a one-off capture procedure, or an export format. - Open the page you want PageCrawl to monitor.
- Click the PageCrawl browser extension icon.
- Choose + Track New Page.
- Review the page name and choose what to track.
- Optionally specify what matters and where you want alerts sent.
- Choose a check frequency, then click Start monitoring.
PageCrawl’s guide lists the extension routes for Chrome, Edge, and Brave; Firefox; and Safari or other browsers through a bookmarklet. Browser support and store availability can change, so check the current guide and store listings for your browser.

This mode tracks text across the page; it is not a setting that promises to download a full-page image. The guide lists three content levels: Everything, Content only, and Main article only. Pick the level that matches how much page text should count as a change.

Visual tracking lets you draw an area on the page and select how much visual change should trigger notice. It monitors a selected region; do not treat it as equivalent to capturing or exporting a pixel-for-pixel image of the entire scrolling page.
